$5 A Day Means Disney MY Way: 17 nights, 26 ADRs, 165 TS credits

I couldn't agree with you more about the tipping situation..........I will always tip generously when the service is first rate, but I feel so sorry for your poor mum feeling obliged to leave him 18% when he clearly deserved nothing at all! I think I would have written on the bill
No tip because neither provided with good or outstanding service! :rotfl2:
xx

I am glad you agree- we just felt really awkward. I think my dad left on purpose! :rotfl: The next time we are put in that situation I don't think we'll tip- but it's so hard being from the UK (I am sure you can empathise :rotfl: ) and having to use your own judgement. ::yes::

Glad to welcome another Briton! I hope you have been okay with the disastrous floods recently!

that is an awful story about Planet Hollywood , I certainly would have had a chat with management , no one wants to be harassed at a meal , especially when paying good money to eat there , it is just wrong !

I wouldn't blame you one bit had you decided not to tip the overly pushy server. I would have been just as inclined to not leave a tip, either!

On our last trip to Disney World, we, too, ate at Planet Hollywood (after a very long time since our last meal there). Not much had changed over the span of years, as the food quality was still mediocre and the service was, at best, poor to average.

For this year's trip, my family has unanimously agreed to skip Planet Hollywood.

Thanks for your great reports! ;)
