Laura,

Do you collect only Chip and Dale pins, or do you sometimes get special event pins, etc? I tend to buy mostly Stitch and special event pins (MVMCP, MNSSHP, PaP, FaW, year pins, etc.), but now that I've cruised, I'm branching out to include cruise pins. Woudl you go so far as to call yourself fanatic about pin trading and collecting? How many bags/albums do you think you have?

I wouldnt say I've gone crazy. Fortunatly for my savings account there dont seem to be as many Chip n Dale pins as some other characters. I have bought some others too, my collections includes CnD, 3 Little Pigs and wedding Mickey/Minnie. I used to bake/design wedding cakes. I have joined D23 but thinking about not going to the expo so I can save for another cruise I'm investigating. And yes, I want to get anything cruise related to CnD. I buy several online at Ebay. Dont have a book, I have a curio cabinet that I lined with cork board so I have been putting them there. I also got one of the Big Figure CnD's back when Disney was doing their own auction. I try to get the limited edition ones, especially the Disney Soda Fountain ones as they are usually limited to 100. Guess you could call me a fanatic, lol

Angie! I've added you to the first post on this thread.

To get the banner on your signature, just right click on the banner you want to use, and select "Save Picture As". Save it to your computer and then upload it to a photosharing website. From there, you can post it to your signature in the same manner you used to upload the other picture in your signature.

Tami, That sounds like quite a collection. Please post a picture of them!

We also collect pins. We probably have around 50 or so pins. We collect the annual dated pins for each year we visit WDW, the special event pins that we attend, one from each resort we've stayed, our favorite attractions, a handful of DCL pins and a hardrock cafe pin from the ports of call on DCL. We display ours in a small hanging cabinet. I'll try to get a picture posted as well.

Or you can right click, then select properties. Once there, click on the URL Address and add that to your siggy. Of course, that is, if it's Okay with the person you are borrowing the photo from.

Welcome to our new cruisers!! Glad to have you with us.

Been away from the boards lately-Chris had sinus surgery/septoplasty 2 weeks ago and I had to take care of him! It needed to be done and he is almost better now. Not 100% but very close.

Nothing too new here. Just trying to plan our Sept WDW trip but the hours are still not officially posted as of right now. That makes it very difficult to plan our Adr's not knowing which park has EMH or not knowing the days for Spectro, Wishes and Fantasmic. Hopefully they will be posted soon!

Just enjoying the nice weather and our trips to the beach! We had a gorgeous beach weekend this past weekend. Got me thinking of Castaway Cay!!

Let Chris know we will be thinking of him and he will be 100% real soon. Hopefully now that this has been corrected he will feel better.

As far as the hours at WDW go keep checking everyday. Go into each park to check the calender because they will be posted park by park and not all at once. After all parks are complete then they will post the hours on the home page. Disney has really let this one slip. I much perferred when the posted 180 days out! This too I believe is a sign of the time. Oh by the way we only have 32 days and a wake up before our next trip to the world. Happy planning, Lois

Here's a weather update from Denver. From our back door about twenty minutes ago:

I lived in Missouri and Kansas nearly 39 years and never saw a Tornado. I see my first one close to the Rocky Mountains. This is probably about 10 miles from our house. It broke up after about 5 minutes.

Holy Crap, Christopher! We saw that on the news, but their footage wasnt even near as close as yours was. I'm originally from California and I can handle earthquakes, but am terrified of tornados! I love Arizona, no earthquakes, no hurricanes, no tornados. Just lots of heat. The monsoons are beautiful, I love the lightening and rain.

WOW that tornado shot from your back door is the most dramatic picture you've shown by far. So ironic that once you moved from KS you get one so close. We've had a couple close calls this year but so far so good. Glad you are all safe!

Christopher, I am speechless..and that's hard to do! LOL That is one heck of a photo!! You should have submitted it to the news channel. I am SURE they would have used it!! Incredible!!!!!

School is offically out for summer!! We went to the wave pool on Sunday, ran a bunch of errands yesterday, went to the free summer movie this morning, then to lunch and have held Colton's girlfriend captive for nealry 12 hours. Going to leave shortly to take her home. She's a nice girl...so far. I don't necessarily agree on all her views, BUT she's 14, they might change. (or I might not have to worry about them!)

Should be packing and getting ready for our trip, but my procrastination mood is in full swing!! Maybe tomorrow....I have a few little piles of stuff all over the house, just need to consolidate, pack and prepare!! It was forecasted to be near 100 almost all week, now it's down to the lower 90s all week. That I can handle! Got the ponchos, got the fans, we're good to go!

Can't wait to see more photos!!!

Yes, the tornado was incredible to see, but it wasn't scary at all. Tornados in Denver generally aren't anything like they are in Kansas! These are EF0 tornados (with EF5 being the strongest). EF0's are weak and typically don't do any structural damage, but can break tree limbs, move cars and break some windows. Only one person was hurt on Sunday and that was because he was literally picked up off his porch by the tornado as he watched it (his house had no damage). The accompanying hail broke windows and did more damage, but we didn't get damaging hail at our house.

We were probably 10 miles away from the tornado in the prior pictures. If you haven't been to Denver, one interesting thing about it is that you can see "forever". From our house we have a clear view of about 25 miles to the mountains and about 40 miles south and north. Because there are so few trees and Denver is so flat, visibility is great. This tornado was fairly far from us but the camera zoom makes it seem much closer. We had no strong winds or scary skies by our house. In fact, when we looked north, there were blue skies.

All of that said, we did have a SECOND tornado nearby last night. I wasn't home from work yet, but my DW said it was about 3 miles away (there's a highway a little over two miles from us) to gauge distance. This tornado was much smaller and never came down from the clouds, but here's the picture:

See the blue sky. My DW said she had to shield her eyes from the sun to take the pictures and my son played a baseball game not far from here about 45 minutes later under blue skies for most of the game.
