Please add us to the list!

This will be our 5th (!!!) DCL trip, as well as our 2nd Double-dip Disney cruise. For those of you who have never experienced a double-dip, you are about to embark on the BEST vacation ever. There's truly nothing like it.

We were on the 12/4 Wonder (all decorated for Christmas). While we loved it, I can honestly tell you that 3 days felt like 60 seconds when all was said & done. Way too short, but the fact that it was so "Christmassy" made it all worthwhile.

Where are you guys from? We live in Ivyland, Pa about 35 min north of Philly. We also have a home in Ocean City, NJ. Glad to have you join our group!!
We have done a double-dip and were SOOO spoiled since we love, love, love Castaway Cay, esp Serenity Bay. We are doing the 5 day double dip AND the 4 day which will give us 3 glorious days at CC.

I've added you to the list on the first post. This will be our fourth DCL cruise, but first double dip and we're really looking forward to it. Not sure how it can top our 15 night EB Repo through the Panama Canal, but we plan to find out as the whole famliy really enjoys Castaway Cay!!!

Right near Kessel's Corner & the Seashell Museum - I'm sure know where they are! Kessel's has the best milk shakes .

Wow, you are going to have a awesome week on the Wonder. Are you staying in the same cabin for both cruises? A back-to-back would be my dream come true, but we're going to follow up this 5-day with a trip to our home resort, Old Key West. We've been DVC members for several years and really consider OKW our 2nd home

Wow, to be in OC for an entire month! Now, that is nice!! The longest we stay is 2 weeks, just because of work issues. We were just there this past weekend checking on the house and we wished Kessel's was open..... They are closed until March. DH and I LOVE Kessel's Corner! We are only a few blocks from there-we are on West Avenue 30th and West. May be we will meet up in OC before we cruise in May 2010!

We are in the same stateroom for both cruises. We booked early enough that it was available for us. I'm not sure of what the protocol will be for us-hopefully we do not need to pack up our stuff and get it at customs???? Does anyone here know? Has anyone ever done a backtoback?

We traded in a week in the Walt Suite July 2009 for the 9 day back to back cruise. We were in the Roy Suite in October 2008 and it was heavenly. Just the most perfect cruise ever! But we LOVE CC so much we decided to change to 3 days at CC. I think it was a nice compromise!

We had a fantastic group of Dis'ers who we did alot with and even ate dinner with. We linked our ressies with 3 other couples so we had a table of "friends". It was amazing........if anyone here would like to do that let me know. It was so nice to know who we were eating our meals with, even before we cruised!

Michele and family - We were at Hilton Head several years ago, but it was in Feb and the weather was only in the 50's--not too nice for beach weather, but we did manage to walk a bit on the beach. 70's sounds absolutely beautiful!!!! Enjoy your vacation! Happy New Year to you and your family too!!!

yeah i live in north east philly, and its so weird cause my family goesto ocean city too, in august as a matter of fact. last year was our first year renting a house but i hope to do the same this year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Connor and I walked down to the beach this morning to watch the sun rise. It was so flippin' cold! LOL It was about 34 degrees and the wind was whipping! The sand actually reminded me of when the snow is light and it blows into snow drifts. Haven't seen that since we lived in Cleveland. Connor thought it was cool to watch the sand, but then it started to get in our mouths and it was just TOO cold to stand out there for long! It was neat to watch the sun come up and greet the New Year that way. We were all asleep by 1030 last night! LOL

Sorry about that -- I fixed it.

You're the same age as my oldest son and I can't imagine him getting on-line here -- especially on his own. We tried to get him involved last year with the "Kids of the Panama Canal" cruise meet thread before our repo cruise and he only posted a couple of times. However, we did set him up with a couple of pen pals prior to the cruise, one of which ended up being his best bud on the cruise. They still talk to each other nearly 5 months later via phone and email. If you're interested in talking to him via email, let me know but I'd also like your parent's permission first.

Great pictures! I think it was colder there than it was in Denver. The low yesterday was in the upper 40's and today we are in the 60's, but snow is expected this weekend!
