I plan on packing my FE, door magnets, and the banner in my carry-on bag. That way while I'm waiting for my luggage to be delivered I can have my door already decorated.

The four of us will be at the meet. Not sure about mom, step sister or nephew. We will be in lime green shirts that say "Richard's Cruise" on it. We can't wait! I started packing today. The girls dinner clothes are packed. I dearly love lists and packing; the dinner clothes are rolled and packed in zip lock bags. (A dis board tip). Our travel toiletries are mostly packed as well. I just have to add the little things we don't have two of. Woo!

....and is now in a big boot/cast thing for our trip!!
Poor girl, she is so bummed! Don't know if she will go to the teen club now, since there will be a limit to what she can do. Good thing is, she's not on crutches and can walk around with the boot on, but no swimming unless we can guarantee that noone will bump into her foot while boot is off.
Anyway, still excited about the trip and can't believe it's almost here!

Mom's leg is broken too! She had a bicycle wreck and her doctor said she is healing slowly and may not be out of the hard cast in time to swim. Maybe they can pal around...mom is not your average grandma...

Oh Im getting sooooo excited....3 weeks from tonight we wont be able to sleep from excitement I put together my FE today now I just have to put the finishing touches on it. Turned out better then I thought it would esp. since I dont have a creative bone in my body. Still got so much to do and so lil' time...but thats a good thing. Hope everyone has a nice mothers day...SEE YA IN 3 WEEKS

NO.......it can't be time to leave yet...........I am taking care of some kidney stones right now. Going to have the lithotripsy today to pulverize the stone because it is too large to pass. I told my dr. that I was leaving in 2 weeks for vacation to a "far away land" and that I need this to be taken care of NOW. Wish me luck.

Good luck! FWIW, I've had a few lithotripsies, and you'll be up & running by the time the trip rolls around. The first day or two can be rough, but after that, you'll feel GREAT!! And you'll have the pleasure of knowing your cruise won't be ruined by any kidney stone "attacks".

Hoping your lithotripsy goes well. Just be happy you're getting the stones taken care of now instead of being on a ship and having to deal with kidney stone PAIN!
As a former kidney stone sufferer, I ALWAYS worry about recurring stones while I'm on vacation.
You still have time so rest up and I'll give you a big hug when I see you!

Sorry to hear you'll be down for a few days, but glad to know you have 2 weeks to recover !! I have never had kidney stones (knock on wood) but I imagine they are very painful. I had to go to see a specialist for high eye pressure, it's not glaucoma (at least not yet). I was hoping they would zap it with a laser and be done, but I got put on drops. I started them last night...today I look like I am stoned and have a terrible headache. I hope these side effects disappear quickly or else I'll be hiding behind shades all trip !! I bet I'll get some looks at work tomorrow
