Has anyone started playing with Loopt?

It's the new "facebook" that basically includes GPS, if I understand it correctly.

I'm wondering if it is another way to keep track of the wife and kid.

Nope- it doesn't like my PDA... I love Facebook, though... it has reconnected Ray and I with our 'core' group of about 20 college friends (We were all on the housing staff together) who, surprisingly, all finally grew up, got real jobs, and managed to raise functional families. Amazing.

Every few days, Jordan will come to me and say "Guess who found me on Facebook?"....and it surprises me that it's someone like my nephew's wife...
I guess I thought places like that are just for teens. Or teens and preditors.

Wrong again.

My friend called. Claire does NOT have cancer. She said that the oncologists had already sat them down and told them it was a Wilms' tumor. Then the radiologist came in and said that it was NOT cancer. She does have to see a specialist to see what the growth is but it's not cancer. My friend said that it was possibly a 3rd kidney that tried to form when she was in the womb that attached itself to one of her kidneys. She may still have to go through some sort of surgery but at least they have some piece of mind that it's not cancer. She said that she will probably contact someone at St. Jude's to give her a second opinion just to fully ease her mind. They were in the process of moving from this area to Memphis area. So, they will have that access to St. Jude's once they move.

We're back from Disney. It's a whole different ball game when you actually LIVE here. We spent a lot more time relaxing at the pool and a lot less time running around at parks than we normally would have.

Although MVMCP was fun! (except the slaughtered the parade by changing the music!)

Yeah, it was kinda weird b/c we went to MNSSHP on 10/31 and just 12 days later we were "celebrating" Christmas.

Part of it though is we have to go when Mike has an evening off. And we are in town. And the DVC discounted night didn't hurt either.

Well....I think I have all my Christmas shopping done. Not doing much, so I won't have a lot to box up and ship.

Now all I need to do is get Megan's furniture shipped to her, and I'll be a happy camper.

I'll probably start addressing Christmas cards at night now....definitely will not be done by my Thanksgiving deadline, but close.
