It's all about delegation. Which is why I have to head home and cook dinner. Sharon delegated!
We all have to obey the "Boss"

That's exactly why my children don't know about our cruise yet! I've messed up a few times in front of them, but no one has caught on yet. We're saving the surprise until Christmas. It'll be a great surpise. :wizard:

Us too... though its REALLLY difficult!!!!! I have a feeling that we might not be able to keep the secret that long... especially with 'Scuba' Lisa and my daughter going to the same middle school in the fall! Not that Lisa would tell her, but I might give up at that point... its so hard to keep my mouth shut!!!!

I'm thinking a bit closer. Mostly the fountain, with the sign above the door in the frame.

I promised Lisa a t-shirt on the "dive day" we had one the last Epcot day :earseek: and forgot to take one when we were there after the cruise.

I understand and will get it taken care of.

Kevin, I just order Matt's LiquidFit wetsuit. They are having a sale for the kids. A full length 3.5 mil hyperstrech with a 3.5 sleeveless jackets for cheaper than I can order off the rack. They are trying to get rid of their copper color. Matt does not care about the color so that is the way we are going. If you can ever get by with a 3.5 mil you might want to talk to them.

:flower1: Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Thursday!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

:sunny: Good Morning to you!! :sunny:

It's a little cold up here in NY. The mercury has fallen drastically. We went from upper 50's yesterday down to 30's today. Talk about your influx of temperatures.

Hope everyone has a great day. It's PAYDAY!! Waaahoooo!! Gotta put some of that moola away for our cruise. :goodvibes I can't wait. These 15 months are going to kill me. The only thing that will keep me sane or take my mind off the long wait for our cruise, maybe, is going to be our addition on our house this spring/summer/fall. However long it takes. We're pushing out the back of the house(kitchen and dining room) and going up with a 4th master bedroom suite. Please say a prayer for me. I don't have much patience to start off with.

Anyway.....Let's make it a great day out there. I love reading all your posts. I feel like I know you, but never met any of you....yet!!! Can't wait for that to happen.

Great Info! I'll have to look into that, thanks for the heads up. 3.5mil might be nice. I've got a 3/2 and have to admit at times it's not enough. :cold:

Going to LiquidFits site now....

I know what you mean Maria. I'm a remodeling contractor here in Albuquerque and it's always hard on the folks in the house while under going a major remodeling project. Just remember, it will be MUCH nicer when its done. Keep your eye on the end result, and don't forget to communicate to the guys if there are concerns. It does work better that way.... :earseek:

Tinksdad - my husband is a Union plumber and a lot of his friends are going to be doing most of the work. My husband is very handy and all the other guys are all union workers. So, it's us as the contractor. We know exactly what we want and the architect did a great job portraying it on the blue prints. We have a side-to-side split and are going out 22' with the kitchen/dining room and adding a family room behind the dining room and putting the master suite above. Not extending all the way out, of course. Otherwise we would have an enormous, way over sized bedroom. It's big enough the way it is on the prints. 17 x 23' Not including the bathroom. So, if you're in the NY area this spring/summer/fall pop on in and I'll show you around the construction site.

My oldest son, age 9, is going to be playing little league and then travel ball which I thought would be a great idea, just to get me out of the house. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Have a great day.

Maria

How exciting!! Kitchens are the hardest part of the home to remodel. Since it's the "hub" of the house. The family is at odds when the hub is down.

Good luck, let us know how the progress goes.

and keep an eye out on those "union plumbers" :rotfl2: (inside joke)

Our kitchen remodel was completed about 6 hours before Hurricane Charley rolled into town... talk about chaos!!! I still can't find some of the things I put away!!!!

WOW, sharing a T.O.P. with tinksdad!

We had an unintentional kitchen remodel a year and a half ago. We came home from a long weekend on Veteren's Day 2003 to find that our upstairs bathroom sink had a hot water line come loose. We had 3 inches of water on our kitchen floor (beneath the bathroom) and the ceiling was falling down. The water had also soaked through the kitchen floor into the basement. It took us until Valentine's Day 2004 to get our kitchen back. We went ahead and gutted it and did some extra work. Even though it's been a year, DH just got around to putting some of the trim up last weekend and still has some baseboard to install. I can live with those little things, though. Best of luck on the remodel.

WHAT A DRAG!! :sad2: :sad2:

Thanks for the shared TOP!
We are right in the middle of a similar project. The folks had a water line freeze and burst. All over the house, and they had no basement for the water to go. They have moved to a suites hotel during the repairs. :guilty: A real inconvenience for them. You really get to see stress this kind of problem causes. NOT a pretty sight.
Sounds like you have come out OK! Congrats!! :cloud9:

Since all of you are DCL vets, how many of you have done the REAS package? Is it worth it? If I decide to do it, can I just add it to my reservation at any time? It just seems like it may be worth it just to not to have to worry about making Palo reservations. Although, not sure DH would like me spending that much extra $. But what he doesn't know doesn't hurt him, right?!

Angie,
I have never done it, I just don't see the appeal. Maybe someone here could sell me on it also! LOL

Going to LiquidFits site now....

I called Matt's final measurements in this morning. They called me back this afternoon saying it has been shipped. It will be here on Wednesday. Can't beat that for custom made.
