Yep...here comes the rain...our area is getting it the hardest right now....darn it.

Have to pick Jordan up in an hour, and I have the Equinox. Jay took Jared to baseball in the Yukon XL. Stupid creek.
Here's what it looked like the day after the lady got her car stuck in it: (the first 2 pics)

Speaking of champagne......(and I usually am) ....... my Banfi that I ordered arrived today! :drinking1 So, the question is: Banfi before bed, or Nyquil for my cold??? :scratchin
To bad it didn't make it in time for  Valentines Day.

But, I'm sure you find ways to use it anyway!!

Choose BANFI of course! Like there really was one... :rotfl:

Alcohol IS the main ingredient in Nyquil......so what's the difference?:confused3
May as well drink something that tastes good!;)

The guy who owns the Cave Creek Coffee Company & Wine Bar (that's a mouthful) was in the shop yesterday, he'd never heard of Banfi. He said he could get it for me at cost, but I bet he'd charge me more than the $16.99 I paid!

You're on the front edge (compared to us). Suppose to hit us about midnight.

On the positive side, the landscape looks more like the south instead of Arizona, except for the saguaro in the background.

The creek is the reason we bought the property. We have mountains behind us, desert to each side, but green and trees down by the creek. Jay failed to mention to me that the creek would flood.

You get a bottle of DCL's champagne, the Fairytale Cuvee, to drink at your reception.

Angie,
I have never done it, I just don't see the appeal. Maybe someone here could sell me on it also! LOL

REAS was terrific on the Holiday Cruise. For us, we were going to do Palo's Dinner, Brunch & High Tea and a massage for each of us anyway (this is the key). You can add REAS at any time (I will do so at a later time for this trip), but they charge your credit card immediately. It does not just go on your stateroom account.

By doing REAS, I was able to make all three of my Palo Reservervations & my spa appointments a month in advance of the cruise (so no REASY rush for me!!!! and I was a lot lessed stressed about getting on board to get what I wanted and then finding the times full). The other things that came with the package were nice extras. There was a welcome basket in our room upon arrival with a box of chocolates, a bottle of champagne, and a photo album. On the night we had Palo Reservations, our bed had a rose petal shaped heart on it (we in turn did this to OhioMinnie's bed on her night at Palo's with the help of her children) :cool1: Since I was already doing Palo's and the Spa, the cost was very similar to what I would have spent anyway. I really enjoyed the "peace of mind". :cheer2:

SO, you can schedule ALL you spa appts in advance or JUST your couples massage? It just seems like a steep price just to be able to pick your dining rotation.

tinksdad... where did you meet up with that ugly critter in the picture?

Wow, Stacey. It's pretty impressive that your creek is deep enough for sharks!;)

Sharon, how was the tea? We've never done that. We would need somewhere to send our DD on our Palo night. Oh yeah, she can go to the Stack! As if she wouldn't.

Great news! We finally got a schedule for next school year, and so far so good. School is out on May 23, plenty of time to make it to the cruise. Now we just need the dance studio to cooperate.

Yay, Survivor's back! That adds Thursday to "must see TV" nights.

It will be here on Wednesday.

And I'll be there on Friday!

Sorry haven't been around much. Just busy. Mike is having eye surgery for his glaucoma (laser) tomorrow at 7:30. ....

To this day, there is still one large cardboard box of 'miscellaneous' next to the desk... just can't seem to find a home for it!!

Maybe if you've done without it this long, you really don't need it?

Oh, yeah, like I can talk....my basement is a wreck with boxes that haven't been unpacked in two moves!
