We are back!! Made it home in time to get ready for the SuperBowl party at the neighbors. The Soup Nazi's Chicken Chili is simmer and the Triple Choclate Mess is in the crock pot. Everything is on high as we got delayed at Divers Direct (figure that?).

If you don't want to read a dive report, go to the next post. I was going to email Kevin, but I know Mary likes to read about our dive trips and since this one involves a Moray Ell, it's worth reading.

Kevin, we dove with The Diversity. They will be one of the boats we use in May. Not a lot of service, but they have a great setup and most of the locals use them. They have no limit on bottom time or tank size. We can use 108's and dive for 90 minutes, he would not care. Just come up with 500 lbs and no deco. The boat has one of the best set ups I have ever seen. I think you will like it.

Now the dive! As I mentioned before leaving, we would see some great stuff since I was not taking the camera. It happened within the first minute of diving. Since we were drift diving it's jump in and head to the bottom as quickly as possible. I got to the bottom and saw this long, fat, green thing. Is it what I think? Yes, a big (6 footer) moray ell. It's head is in the hole and his body is out. Matt and Paul (our buddy, meet on Scuba Board) came over.

The moray started swimming in the same direction as we drifted. For about 5 minutes he swam and we followed, within 3-4 ft. He did not care. He went off over the reef and we lost him. A few minutes later, Matt points at my fins and there he is. Mr. Moray is back and goes right along the ridge with us. At one point Mr. Moray is at the sand level and Matt is 3 ft above him. They are just drifting along. Oh for the camera. We drift above him, beside him, up close with him for about 5 minutes and then he heads into a hole. A few minutes later Mr. Moray is back for another drift. Paul doesn't see him and actually hit him with a fin. Mr. Moray did not care. Just keep swimming with us. About 5 minutes later he took off.

That was so cool and than there was the large turtle, spotted drum, trunk fish, 2 scorpon fish swimming together.....

I am going on Ebay now to buy another camera.

Karen, tell Grandma Lightbulb that we will be thinking about her and praying for her tomorrow. Here's hoping the news is good.

Thanks! Mike just talked with her. She's pretty nervous about the whole thing. Plus after 3 liters of Go-lytely she's cursing the docs! ;)

Shucks. If he allowed the 109's maybe I'd do it, but I'm fresh out of 108's!!! :(

Cool report! I see you have respect for 6 ft eels.....that would be MR. Moray! ;)

If I had a spear gun you would be enjoying MR. Moray when you are down in a few weeks. I hear they taste like chicken.

Oh wow - I know all those feelings! :flower:

Saw a turtle! Cool!

Saw a Moray! EWWWWW! No thank you!

So how did Lisa do in her competition (that is why you went right)?

Karen - the 500 is really the 20th isn't it? I think next weekend is the Bud shoot-out.

Yes, you are absolutely right... Speedweeks is just a blur for me... guess I didn't count the "Shootout" as a free weekend, as my brother will be here making his first-ever Florida visit, (44 years old, and he's never been to FL... poor deprived child!!!) and we'll be wrapped up in Shootout festivities!

I doubt that I'll go to the 500... its just too big of a chaotic crowd to deal with the kids... Christopher is just way too hard to keep up with for one parent to deal with!!!! I am sure we'll find someone to use the tickets if we don't.

Sounds like you found yourself a new friend!!

:fish: Just keep swimming... just keep swimming...:fish:

(Sorry- there are no eel smilies!)

Sounds AWESOME!! You have experienced (again) the no camera/many photo opportunities syndrome!! :fish: Don't you just love when that happens? Morey's are not out of their holes very often during daylight hours. How Fun!! :thewave:

The boat sounds like it would suit me just fine!!

Did Sharon have the camera?? :rolleyes1

Do you have this problem?? :flower:

Subject: Computer Hard and Software:
Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed
that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a
lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed
itself into all other programs and now monitors all other
system>activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0,
Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no longer run, crashing the
system whenever selected.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run
my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend
7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help! Thanks, A
Troubled User. (KEEP READING) ______________________________________

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is
just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING
SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also
impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is
impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once
installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is
designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under
Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and
work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background
application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. The best
course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately
you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will
return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be
very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs,
such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be
very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the
system to launch the program Nag, Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only
way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional
software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0! WARNING!!! DO NOT,
under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This
application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible
damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,
Tech Support

Sharon had the camera for the meet. Lisa did fine. Improved her scores on three events. I'll leave that update to Sharon.

I already bought a camera on Ebay tonight. This won't happen again.

During the surface time Matt complained his hands were turning purple. His suit is to tight so off to Diver's Direct we went. They did not have anything for him so I'll have to buy something on line before next weekend. Going shark tooth hunting in Tampa.

Yes, identicial camera. This way I have a back up in case it ever gets flooded.

I figured it is better to buy it now since it is discountinued than to have to buy a whole new housing setup if it is ever flooded.

Now I am on a quest for a new wet suit for Matt. Medium Tall. Divers Direct did not have any so the search is on. I'll check out some LDS today.

:flower1: Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Monday!

I've got another early deadline this morning at work so I need to do a quick hello and then off to work I go.

Have a great day everyone!
