We try and manage one a year so ours are:

DVC Member Cruise 9/4/05
Double Scoop Group Cruise 5/27/06

Good morning to everyone! I just can NOT keep up with this thread. By the time I get home from work, there are pages and pages to read. So I think I will just sit back and try to take it all in.

I can only afford the time and money to take one cruise a year.

May 14 - May 28 2005 Westbound Panama repositioning cruise :flower1:

May 26 2006 Double scoop

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Robin

 ok, dumb question....how do you find the low airfares everyone is talking about. what we typically do is go to delta's site....buy 4 tickets to FL (usually around $200-$250) and that's it. Delta is supposedly slashing prices, but their tickets to FL are still around $250. So what gives? TIA

I agree! What gives with Delta's new pricing?! I was looking for a flight from ATL to New Orleans for DH to fly for godchild's (baby hasn't been born yet) christening. Delta was almost $300! That's not any kind of price break. A special usually runs around $140 r/t ... this new price is double!!!

This cruise will be our first-ever cruise. Who knows ... maybe after this we'll be hooked just like all of you! :boat: :sunny:

Alas, we are but poor souls who can only afford to cruise once every 2 or three years... :charac2: . We finally got snow here instead of rain. DS is thrilled to get to go sledding this afternoon. At least it makes it look brighter outside, even though there's still no sun.

Glad to here your DS is enjoying the snow.

We have our sliders open and I am listening to the pool. It is nice and warm here in Daytona beach.

Ohiominnie - any sun yet?

Well, if you can only do one a year, this is definitely the one to take! ;)

After our first DCL cruise in 2002, we set a goal to cruise every other year. We've stuck to it, if you don't count the Christmas cruise we did on Celebrity in 2003! When we saw the Celebrity ship in St. Thomas, our daughter blew raspberries at it. Which gives you an idea of what we thought of that cruise, so I guess we won't count it.

Next cruise, 5/27/06! After that, I told DD we would do one for her high school graduation, and she could take a friend. That would be three years in between, so we may have to sneak another one in the middle there. DCL to Alaska would be perfect!

Just got back in, had a planning retreat up in Sante Fe for the Remodelor's Council I belong to. Good productive meetings, and a GREAT meal at the Palace in Santa Fe. Had not eaten there before. The food and service reminded me of the ship board meals. Very Nice!!

I like the fact that folks post. It's fun to have something to read and enjoy.

Now off to make a template for our bridge building episode this afternoon.....

Dont feel bad. See I have this little problem, its called thinksshesrichacitis.... I am sure Mike can list all the symptoms, of which I show many. I pay the depos on the cruises telling my cupcake that I need to decide which on I really want. In the meantime the price of said dates raises sky high, and then I feel bad letting my existing ressie go.........there are many bad side effects to thinksshesrichacitis, the 1st of which is a painful gut pain about once a month after checking the mail...

I'm sitting by the pool (thank God for Wi-fi)... watching the TV that we just mounted for 'optimal outdoor viewing'... moving to FL put a temporary crimp in our crusing budget, but at least I can enjoy it here!!!! Thermometer says 82... sorry ohiominnie!

Only cruise planned right now is the Double Scoop... probably heading back to what's left of Sanibel & Captiva this summer.

You can't even imagine how excited I am about this one. I will be gone from work nearly a month! One night before at Ron Jon's, two weeks aboard the Magic, and 1 week in L.A. area afterwards. This pretty much blows all my vacation time though, only 8 days left over for the entire rest of the year! (I think I will be taking some unpaid time off) With my new house being built in Florida, and DD there, so far I already have two trips booked going down there. One this month, and one in April.

Oh please don't say that!! :sad2: I probably should have my head examined for uprooting and moving down there. Leaving a job I have had for 14 years, to ....no job (yet) I'm trying to look at ALL the benefits of living there, in State tuition rates (huge savings), no more flying back and forth for my DD and I ($300 a pop RT, we've done 12 so far and 4 more booked), and Florida resident rates for Disney :cloud9:

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :badpc: I am having a really mean day concerning my kids. They are making me sooo angry! THey do not appreciate anything that is given to them. I am having a hard time making them understand what an awesome life they have. Days like today, I shake my head nad wonder why I do things like WDW and cruising for them................
