Did they mail them to you? It cracks me up when I go to the post office in the spring and all I hear is peeping from behind the counter!!!

Yes, I got a call from the post office to come pick them up. I went before hours and knocked on the back door to get them. It's a small town, so I imagine they're used to things like that. OK, now the road's flooded in front of our house, and school is dismissing early in anticipation of the ice. DH only has 9 more years before he's eligible for early retirement, and we can move south. OK, all of you FL residients. There must be SOME drawbacks; bugs, hurricanes, etc....

Yes, there are a few phrases we do not use in the house.

Ok since it seems so many liked the photo gallery I'll do one for this cruise as well. Since we aren't doing a newsletter we'll include birthdays and anniversaries with the pictures.


On the Member Cruise we are putting both our DVC homes and our real homes. Would you guys like that as well (the real home part). For example Mark and I are from Morton Grove, IL or you could be more generic and say Mark and I are from the Chicagoland area. Whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Here's what I'd like from everyone.

• Pictures should be .jpg or .gif - they get resized down to 640 x 480 and then downsized again to thumbnails.
• Cabin number
• Early or late seating
• DIS name and real names of everyone in the photos
• Birthdays of everyone in the photos
• Anniversary of anyone in the photo

It helps if we have one photo per family, but if you need to send two that's fine.

If there are mini-meets between now and the cruise I'll be happy to post those pictures as well. Photo area will not be password protected. I may change the format a bit so include all this new info so give me a couple of weeks to work on it.

Please put in the subject that it is for the 5/27/06 cruise as I'm also doing a photo gallery for the 9/4/05 DVC Member Cruise.

When we get closer to the cruise we'll work on the mini-navigator. I'll try and hold off printing a little longer this time so we don't have so many sticker updates.

Note to 12/18 cruisers - if you want me to use the photos I already have just send the new info and let me know. If you want to send a new photo that would be great too. Hopefully you'll have some great new family photos from the cruise.

DH, Larry, is a gas troubleman with the local utility company. Now that makes for some good white text remarks. We kid him about being a gas man all the time at home. (Good thing he hasn't been reading these boards with me.)

I posted this on the 10 day thread, I'm reposting it here so you can read it and then you can explain to me how "it's all good"

Sigh...Beast update. Too many days of rain and being cooped up has caused her to go nuts. I think we need to move to FL for the dog's sanity! I've taken her out daily to run her, but for her she needs more....

So, today I take her out...it's 37, feels like 31. It's raining. There is mud everywhere and there are three very large lakes in our yard. She is a manaic. I get her bumper, throw it. She brings it back, rams into me...bruise #1. I throw the bumper, she retrieves it, runs into me. Bruise #2. I'm afraid to side step her as I'll slip and it'll be mud-ville for me. When I take the bumper from her she jumps up to get it....nevermind, it's already mud-ville for me. Finally, she bores with bumper play so I go in. I call her. She ignores me. She heads for the water. She is a water dog after all. The rain gets heavier. She ignores me for 15 minutes and plays in the water. She's cute, but soaked. Finally NICK calls her...she comes running GRRRRRR She is now drying in her crate.

At least if I lived in Florida an alligator might have come out of the lake in my yard and taken care of my Beast problem!
