Looks like a jacket would be a good idea with the lows in the upper 40° range with wind.

The Florida weather guy here just checking in. Weather for this upcoming weekend in Orlando is typical winter weather, highs in the mid 60s and lows in the 40s. Bring a jacket and always remember that being in the parks add about 10 degrees, if it is sunny.

Not many gators in the keys. There is to much salt water. The gator prefer fresh water. Just like the water you have standing in your back yard. If you were in FL with that water in your yard, you would have a gator in your yard.

SO, I have a serious question for you guys. Are any of you all ever made to feel guilty about your cruises by members of your immediate family, moms dads brothers sisters? My Mom makes me feel so bad. But you know what? My DH and I work hard all year long, and we make sacrifices during the year, as far as family time goes, because of our jobs. My DH works at least 10 hours a day almost everyday, as long as the OT is offered. So it is not like the life we live is handed to us on a silver platter.....KWIM? My mom and dad make me feel like they think we are rolling in it (which we are not) and make comments about how it must be nice to cruise every year, or go to WDW etc etc........it gets me down sometimes. SO share, does this happen to you? If it does how do you handle it?

We take extended family with us just enough to keep them quiet. Bark at us and we'll keep you out of the fun!! Works for us.

That's often what it boils down to... I would rather LIVE and die poor than die rich without having lived!

I take WAY more vacation than any of my partners (I take all I'm allowed). Most of them take few vacations because they "can't bear how much money they're losing while away from the office."

I just shake my head and plan the next one.

Sometimes this is the best part of the day. It's just like being on the cruise, fresh cup of coffee, listening to the waves (I turn the pool on), reading a book and being all alone on my balcony (okay pool deck).

I can always dream!

Let's see ... my pool has a snow-and-ice-covered cover, the pump is off, and if i tried to sit outside and drink coffee, my bottom would freeze to the chair.

This is now DAY 3!!!! The temp dropped about 10 degrees between the time that I went into church this morning, and the time I came out!!! I'm starting to feel like OM & OM! I'm going to have to change my 'permanent weather forecast'.

We actually had some sunshine today! Sure, the temperature was 18 degrees F, but the sun was definitely shining!!

I'm not proud of this TOP with sooo many posts in a row. Sorry folks, had a whole weekend of pages to catch up on (we went to Cleveland for the weekend to visit family).

That is exactly the way I feel. I would rather have the memories of vacations as a family then any other material thing in this world. I know that my kids will not be young forever! Heck I can not believe my oldest will be 10 this summer! Yikes, I will be 30??!!??! I dont feel like a 30 year old. I still feel like a young whippersnapper...........

Ok so my house is a wreck and I have loads upon loads of laundry to do. I have to work all week long, and then we are leaving for Orlando on Friday as soon as we get off work. Quick trip to Universal (Great deal on passes buy 1 adult get 1 kids free! Why cant WDW ever have a great deal like that? Anyway, I digress) So we are leaving Friday as soon as we get off of work for a 2 night stay at Hard Rock. Uhm, who is going to volunteer to come clean my house for me while I am at work all week? OM, you would get some sun? KIKI you will be halfway here anyways in Sylvester. OMickey, you like to use up your VP time? BBB you can bring all the kids and think of it as test run for you WDW vacation/?? Stace? I will stock the fridge with adult beverages???? Whose coming?
