Especially to my family in New England!!!!!! They're due for another 6 inches of snow on Thursday.... sure hope my brother's plane gets out of Hartford... he's headed here to see me!! (And I hope that his wife can run the plow... she's staying home )

OhioMinnie - Big event for you today. I went and picked up a new pool solar blanket today so the pool will be nice and warm for you!

AH, sounds great! Better get it warm. I like my pool temp in the high 80's, low 90's....I'll know it's warm enough when I don't have to stand on my tip-toes for 3 minutes b/c I don't want to get my middle wet!!!

If it isn't warm enough I'll have the kids pee in it!

Ordered secret ingredients today for the cookies, but unsure what to pack as the Scubas are having the world's longest family meeting about which kinda cookie I should make while I'm down. Unless I missed it when I was skiing.... Hmmmmm

Yes, I know....but I didn't want to spend valuable socializing time at the local Publix. Besides, one of my ingredients, should they choose the cookie that requires it, is very difficult to find.....but well worth it!

What you are going to need is a house with a detached guest house so when people come it does not totally destore your schedule/life.

As I tell my guests, "not everyone is on vacation". Of course that does not apply to OM. She is bringing cookies.

Actually, my parents will get here in a few more weeks... which is as good as cookies, as they'll watch the kids while we are in San Diego. (And when we want to go out on the bike during Bike Week!) Besides, Mom can't leave a pile of dirty laundry or a sink full of dishes, either... the cleaning fairy moves in when Mom & Dad come to visit!
