Heading out in the morning...should have the computer hooked up at my folks' so that I can say hi tomorrow night.

:flower1: Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Friday! It's been a crazy week at work so I'll be happy to see it come to an end.

Stacey - have a safe trip up to your mom & dad's. Glad you are taking the notebook so you don't lose touch with us.

Karen & Mike - continued prayers for Grandma Lightbulb!

At an early age KT began calling Karen's mom "Grandma Shadow" because Shadow was the name of their dog. At about that same age, KT recieved a gift from my mom - a toy flashlight that could shine in three different colors. We had just purchased a new floor lamp for my mom and the LIGHT gifts were exchanged. KT began calling her "Grandma Lightbulb" and the name stuck.

KT also named our cat DINGLE around that time.

Grandma Shadow, Grandma Lightbulb, Dingle - now you know why we homeschool. ;) <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

ah, yes, the hurricane bed set.

Exactly. Who would of thought that after all these years of storing the boards for our windows in case of hurrincane, this would be the year we needed them. Too bad we didn't know this before using all of the "hurricane" lumber to create her bedroom. However, she and her Dad had a great time pretending they were on "trading spaces". Lisa loved working with her Dad and really did help. :cool1:

Actually, it saved me a lot of work. I didn't have the hassel of boarding up all the windows.

Don't tell me Paige :cutie: lives nearby... if that's the case, I'll never see my DH again!!!

I missed reading for just a few weeks and now I have 100 pages to work through...How in the world will I ever catch up? It's so nice to have such a talkative group. I expect to have good friends by the time we sail.

Some extra info about us: We are on Deck 7 forward, I just can't remember the cabin number. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise, and the only family vacation we can all agree on. We love late-seating! I'll try to convince anyone to switch. Jake (11) and Katie (9) love the clubs and will spend many hours in them. They won't know about the cruise until next Christmas, but they'd love to meet some DIS'ers before the cruise. It makes them get even more excited.

I'm going to go watch it snow! Have a great weekend. I'll still be reading from page 111, so type small messages...

Susan

:rolleyes1 Glad to know that mine aren't the only ones.... :ssst: but isn't it almost IMPOSSIBLE to keep the secret!!!!!! I want to tell DD sooo bad, and I know that she wouldn't tell DS... she'd just make it VERY clear to him that SHE knew something that HE didn't... then he'd bug me til I told him too. :crazy2:

Make sure you go back and read the pages about "Amanda's Law"... before she catches you!!!

Welcome, Welcome (again) :cool1:

Great group we have here. Contact Mary and give her your information and a picture if you want. She already has some of us posted already!

We like late seating as well. There are many advantages to it.

Good luck with that snow stuff :cold: I have a scuba class I'm helping with this weekend and the forecast is calling for snow on Sunday! Thank God for drysuits!!

I didn't find Amanda's laws, and how can I contact Mary...I'm so behind...HELP! I won't be kicked off the boat if I break any of the laws, will I?

I think the penalty for breaking Amanda's Law is walking the plank:eek:

Sorry Susan, just kidding. On this page is a post by wdwlover, that is Mary. She has a link in her sig or pm her. Mary is one of the most helpful, kind and wonderful person I have ever met.:flower2: She will walk you thru what she puts together for all of us.

Hi! I'm Mary - Amanda's law is to use color, size or a smilie :cool1: in your post to make it more fun! Don't worry we won't kick you off the boat if you don't want to do any of that. If you click on the link in my signature below it will take you to the page we've done for this cruise. If you will e-mail me your info and a picture I'll be happy to add it to the page.

The goal is for all of us to get to know each other (many of us already do as we sailed on the 12/18/04 cruise together) and to have fun!
