Just checked on the DCL website and it's now going for $5,336.53 for a Cat 11 for three people. I don't think they will be cruising with us this time. Maybe again in 2008, that is when we will probably be able to afford it again.

What is the discount if we rebook on board? I am so excited about this cruise and we have not even sailed I am already thinking about the next one. The DH will call me crazy!!! hahahah

OK ??? and then I really am going to sleep..We are arriving on the 19th...I got a great deal on a flight for my mom but it does not land until 1046pm on the 20th....I need a hassle free (cheap)way to get her from the airport back to our room (that I have yet to reserve) without one of us actually going to pick her up....I was going to try and stay at POP or ASstarts so we could use ME but there is no availabilty...other suggestions? I just dont want to have to drive all the way to the airport wen we could be parking

Now I am really bummed that my aunt didn't book when I asked her to. We all could have been chillin but now she will just have to live though the DD who will share all her DCL moments with her poor cuzin. On the other hand I am sure glad we are going!!

Amanda....I'm thinking towncar might be the best thing for your mom.....if I were her, I wouldn't feel very comfortable alone in a cab...and the cost is probably less for a town car, anyway.

Other than ME, there isn't much choice. We use FLTours, and really like them.

They may not have the exact rates, but all you need to book is the minimum deposit amount. Which, I think, is $250 pp....???....not 100% sure on that.
But you can book any date, and then later, move the reservation to a date that suits you, without losing your onboard credit.

nice thanks for the info. i would have done this for this cruise if I had know i could do that. we got 50% off vouchers for being kicked off the sept 2004 cruise early but I was pregnant so I didn't know when I would feel comfortable sailing so we booked after we were granted an extension on the expiration date. we could have gotten $400 onboard credit for this cruise=lots of pics from shutters.

Anyway....and this may only end up being funny to me......
We got a letter in the mail today. Some company made an offer to buy the property that we have our cabin on. No, it isn't for sale....
The letter says "We are prepared to offer you, IN CASH, $5200.00 for the above mentioned 35.2 acres of land".

Whooo-weeeee. A whole whopping $5200.00 ! I couldn't fax them back fast enough!


My reply?

"Three years ago, we purchased this property for $300,000, and you want us to sell it for FIVE THOUSAND?! That's the funniest thing we've heard all week - maybe all year!! Let us know if you find someone dumb enough to sell 35 acres of land for $5000. We'd be interested in buying!"

Holy cow....I laughed til I cried.

I'm glad you said this because I was wondering if we'd get docs or if it really didn't matter anyway with the online registration and printing stuff from there/etc.

Oh and hi everyone- notice how I just pop in from time to time? I swear I can't keep up with you guys on this thread! We're getting close though huh? I can't believe it. We've waited SOOOOOOOO long for this cruise (originally booked in 2003 for Feb 2005 and then had to postpone due to school schedule changes- so we've been waiting almost 3yrs for this cruise!) that it's hard to believe it's actually almost time for it!

Last call for the buttons and navigators! Deadline is tomorrow.

I put up the newest version of the navigator list that has all the corrections sent in. Thanks to those who checked and thanks to the people who told me about one typo they caught of someone else's since I never did hear from that person.
