You play EUCHRE!!!!!!! Oh boy!!!!! Not many people know of that sport down here in Texas. MinkeyMo alluded it to it before but trying to teach her trump almost cost our early marriage. We will defintely have to paly on the boat. I went to school in Upper Michigan and that is about all we played for 4 years -- okay we might have played the odd game of hearts adn we got on a pinocle kcik once -- I am so exicited!

Hi all -- I am finally home from the office from my very long day. I had to leave at 3:15 to get to the high school to pick up Dale when he got out at 3:45 to make a doctor's appointment at 4:15. Thank goodness the office was not crowded and we did not have to wait. The sign says no cell phones, but as we are walking in my phone starts ringing. Have a major problem at the office that I have to take care, Ashley is calling and then my best friend from Dallas calls, I tell her not a good time call you later, call ashley back and then call the attorney back. Tell him as soon as I finish at the doctor I will head back to office. Now mind you I live about 20 miles from my office. Got back to work at 5:15 when most everyone is already gone (Cindo de Mayo on the Border)

Well got most everything taken care of tonight, but have to be back at 7:00 a.m. in the morning to take care of something right at 8:00 when the newspaper office opens. charley will have to take ashley to swim meet and then I will come down later, so he can leave because he is working an OT shift tomorrow night. As soon as the swim meet is over, I have to meet someone at my office at noon and then make it to the band concert tomorrow night and then back at the swim meet at 7 on Sunday morning (whew). Not sure how much trip stuff I am going to get done this weekend.

My mood is pretty sour right now. I am sure I would be feeling better if I got my documents today. I can't believe Ron in Vegas has them before me here in Texas has them. What's up with that huh?

Thanks OM -- the next 12 days at work are going to be killer. Actually, it will be more than 12, because I will have to go into the office some tomorrow and possibly on Sunday afternoon, then for sure next Saturday. the price we have to pay to be able to go on vacation. charley is also having to work the next 3 saturdays (yeah -- more vacation money) so by the time we actually get to go on vacation, we are really going to need it.

These next couple of weeks just will not go by fast enough.

Thanks All for the laughs as I"m just catching up! I had a discouraging night tonight. Went to do a mock practical exam for my Pilates certification and discovered I have a long ways to go before I'm ready to test - I guess it's better to find out in a practice test than on the real thing. I got alot of good advice and it's a good starting point to go on...I didn't take on this certification from this organization because it was easy, I took it for it's reputation for excellence...

So, I'm surrounded with my favorite things at the moment, my mickey pjs, my dh, the DIS and a bowl of buttered popcorn. And I'm about ready to put in an episode from the 4th season of Alias...


Hurry up - will the 26th ever get here!!! I'm ready to go now!!!

PS - Stacey and Sue, thanks for taking on the dinner arrangements. I guess if we're led to a table in the lifeboat, it's paybacks for Cindy...

While I am very very very excited about our trip, it has dawned on me that it will be over soon. THat is making me very sad, and now I dont want the time to fly by so fast.....This past year and a half, when I was sick of work, this trip has kept me going....once we got back then what wil lI do??!?!?

Next up,.....does anyone know where I can get a pretty cheap jewelry roll? The ole necklaces dont do too well in a ziploc!

Here's what I do, and it's cheaper than a jewelry roll.....I use note cards...or even just a piece of cardboard, and tape my necklaces to it...all the way down the chain, but not on the pendant. Works better than anything.

Seasons 1 & 2 just came out on DVD this past Tuesday. Mark picked them up for us.

I'm going to have to "copy-cat" and get them too. We loved that show. Except now that I am a mother-in-law, I may not laugh so hard at the tar pit thing!
