Maria, I was up at 3 am, but resisted getting on the boards. I really wanted to be able to get back to sleep, and I finally did. We had 30 - 40 mph wind gusts with rain. The window on my side of the bed has loose trim from the earlier storms, and I could hear it flapping all night long. DH can, and will, sleep through anything. I'd better join the rest of the family and get ready for church. Have a great morning, everyone.

We had some bad weather come through earlier as well. My DS3.5 is having problems everytime a dark cloud comes into the sky. He goes into near hysterics and keeps saying, "mama, bad storm coming; bad storm coming." I do my best to convince him that it is nothing but some rain. It breaks my heart. We haven't had much rain at all since Katrina came through in August, so maybe he has been holding it in and the rain reminds him. OR he just really doesn't like the rain!

Poor little thing. My heart just breaks for those kinda things. When RATIONALLY we think about it that it's just a rainstorm, but their little minds work so differently b/c they have less experience.

Mary, just sent you a new photo. Sorry I was late getting it to you. I've been battling a screaming 3.5 year old. My sincerest apologies ahead of time to everyone cruising with us. I was really hoping she'd be over these tantrums by cruise time but it doesn't look like that's going to be happenin'!

Diana -- He has another appointment with cardiologist tomorrow, but the tilt test went well last week. He didn't pass out like the first time, so the nurse said the medication was working. Will be interesting to see what the doc. says. Thanks for asking. I always forget if I posted or not.

See, I have this theroy.....there are a few things in life that are "needs"........shoes is the only one Dave and I disagree on. But with enough of his other "needs" met .........I can always get another pair!

We had actually gone about 3 hours north (right into tornado country for Mississippi) You could hear them everywhere. VERY SCARY! It was the five of us, my BF and her DH with their 3 young kids, the BF's BIL and his family of 2 young kids and very preg wife, and BF's parents in a maybe 1500 sq ft house surrounded by tall pine trees! So, yeah, I know why Andrew is fearful of dark clouds. I thought that maybe he was too young to remember. Guess not.

Their little "march" didn't seem to hurt the service or the food at the Mexican restaurant......HA....it was all very good, even without them!

I was at PetsMart the other day and decided to get Ash a new toy. They had the cutest little Hedgehog......but I couldn't stand the thought that he'd be nibbling on it....so he just got another sheepskin blob.

We have never gone through anything like you guys have, but for some reason, Jared and Jordan have always hated storms. Maybe it's the loud noise the creek makes when it's flooding, I don't know.
But I always used to play music for them when it stormed and they didn't want to go to bed. If we'd had good headphones back then, I would have let them use those.

Amber was there, she was taking the picture. Some nice man came by and said "You need someone else in the picture".......and Amber thought HE was going to stand there with Sherry, Jordan and I! And she's not even blonde!!
But he took the camera, and took a shot of all of us....it just is not a very flattering picture of us Moms.....well, I'll speak for myself...I look HORRIBLE!
But then....it's my own fault. At least I AM getting my hair cut before the cruise.
I can put that picture on here, though. At least they come out small.......

Yes, we had a great afternoon! As far as being glad I have boys........those girls spent all their money and their shopping bags were teeny tiny!

Lunch was very good - they even had Pepsi for Stacey Thanks sooo much for treating. That was a nice surprise

The man that took our picture was a hoot!

I was home for about 45 minutes after our meet before I had to leave again. Just got home about 30 minutes ago. Better go for now!

I'd almost forgotten about the PEPSI! Too funny.

The top is "almost" the right shade...just a touch more pink to it than the skirt, but it's close enough....and will look great, I think, thanks!
