It will only be for a week right? Because Cahrley will be headed home after the creuie and yall will be hanging out at WDW? I say leave him at home...

We are leaving El Paso on May 25 and Charley will be back here on June 3. So about 11 1/2 days gone.

okay okay I am trying Im trying to spend more time here! Now that the cruise is so close, I actually have to prepare for it! LOL I still havent bought a lot of the things I need!

I did some shopping today. It has been killing me that I haven't been going and picking up things for a while now. So, I went looking for the 2.5 gallon ziploc bags and some good sunscreen that won't irratate DS9s face. What I usually use was not at Walmart today. Oh well.

I love the Patterson books. Didn't like the last one as well either. Best part was Alex being in Disneyland (haha)

Maybe we should start a 'Tag-a-longs' thread for the 9 and unders.... Probably be like every other toy... they will play/post for 15 mins and then lose interest!

so far the older kids on the thread have been very pleasnt to Taylor and CJ they havent felt ignored..

Hmmm, I have a plan. My brother is a, how could I say this, a good customer at the casino down there and he gets concert tickets to a lot of things. I will call him tomorrow and see what he could do. Who knows, maybe he could come through for us. So, say a little prayer tonight and keep your fingers crossed. July 16th. That's a Sunday night. Are you sure that's the date?

Karen -- my daughter has extremely sensitive skin and I buy her the new Coppertone Spectra. My pediatrician recommended it and it is the only one that I have used on her face that 1)doesn't iritate it, and 2) doesn't burn as easily. Ibelieve it is about a 45 SPF. She can use a 30 everywhere else, but not on her face.

May 25/26/27/28/29/30/31/June 1/2/3 I count 10 days total, but 2 of those being arrival or departure days so really only 8 days with out seeing one of the family....I say let the neighbor kid do it...

I am the same way. I have not been buying things because I did not want the kids to become suspect. But now it has dawned on me that there is less than one month until we (my family) leave.

I just finished Patricia Cornwell's "Predator" the latest in the Kay Scarpetta series. I was very disppointed with it. That reminds me, are we still going to have a book excahnge?

I agree; totally not her best work. I went back and read most of her first stuff to remind myself how much better it has been!

I am certain! Thats why I picked it. It is a weekend and I wont need to take but a day or 2 off work! I would love it if you could go with me. I would love it even more if your brother could come thru! It is not a sold out show, so maybe just maybe.

Speaking of books, that reminds me that I need to call my mom and have her bring me some books when she comes on Friday. She always buys all the latest paperbacks at Sam's and the like and then I get to read them when she is done

Let us know what you decide....I know how these animals become one of the family!One of the readons I have resisted getting a dog, is dealing with this very issue! We cant even get someone to keep our kids for a few hours, let alone an animal for a few days while we go on vacation ! So lucky you, that you at least have options!

Oh gosh! the first many books were awesome! I think that when she killed Benton and then brought him back, that is where things started going down hill! Sorry hope I didnt spoil anything for anyone!
