I love my Sirius..do you ever get to see the SIrius "stars" Jim Breuer? LOL Stern

Unfortunately, I only get there at off times, but now that Jim will be going into the city more, I'll probably be there more too. So no, I've never seen Jim Breuer or anyone else of interest there. :confused3 But JB did, apparently, live in the same town we did until our move last summer.

Glad to hear that you love Sirius! :goodvibes It's pretty cool that more people know what it is now. Makes what Jim does a little easier to explain these days!

We're staying at the Four Points Sheraton Friday night.

Hey, Rachel............we're staying there too! The 26th is the last day for teachers. So as soon as they let us go, usually around 1:00, we'll leave for the port. DH isn't working that day, so it will be his job to tie up all the loose ends and be ready. :thumbsup2

We were very lazy here today. No cleaning........just floating in the pool and mojitos. ;)

We did run to Walmart after dinner, for a "cruise run" (toothpaste, wrinkle reducer.....etc)

Has anyone ever been to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City? or to Atlantic City?

Thanks for checking Mark. What is so bad about United?

Why do people do that? :confused3 I've even sent things and never received any acknowledgement; a simple "thanks" would have made me feel good. It's so easy to "stay in touch" - much easier than in the *old days* - yet people are getting worse and worse about it. :confused3

I keep in touch with family around the world by email that I would never hear from if I had to write - I am bad at writing and phoning.

DH has a Toyota Tacoma which he bought for work, this is his second one and he really likes them, he does a huge amount of mileage in them and they tend to last long. We may even drive down in it for the cruise as the gas Price is exhaubatant and the Hummer guzzles the stuff!!! We go on there off road trips and they do what the Jeep did and is really fun.

Oh excellent. Which model does he have? We have to get these two guys together to talk trucks on the cruise. What's your DH's name? My DH's name is Augie. Can't wait..5 more weeks.

Hey gang,

We are booked at the Radison the night before.... Anyone else going to be there?

Last cruise the DCL gang had taken it over... some woman asked me if we were a convention... I said 'No, just rabid DCL addicts!' So will there be a party by the pool this cruise??? :cool1:

We'll be there. I don't know who else replied but I think BWVPam is there and a few others, too. Party by the pool sounds good to me.

I just checked with Aubrey and his is a 05 Tundra, not a tocoma, sorry, shows you how much I know about this stuff.............I know what color it is though!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We can't wait either and looking forward to the break and my week in 'heaven'.

I should be getting to bed as the kids have Hebrew school in the morning and I will be taking them as DH goes to play raquet ball in the mornings. Have lots to do around the house and redoing our plants in the front yard, we had someone here this week take all the bushes etc out so now I need to buy the new replacement bushes so they can get planted this week.

We spent the afternoon at DS baseball game and Aubrey and I did the dugout and recorded the scoring, I took my camera and took pics of the boys and left my camera haning on the fence by the dugout.
Remembered it about 3 hours after the game when we were coming home from my mom so went past the field to look and it was hanging exactly where I left it - That was so lucky!!!!

OK yall..I have adilemma and could use your input...

I know you are probably sick of hearing about the Madonna concert...but here goes.
I have always loved Madonna! Always! I had never seen her, or been to any concerts at all until I was 17. My 1st concert was at 17, I saw Bryan Adams. I have since been to a Vertical Horizon, Hilary Duff (with DD last year),Creed (twice) and the last 2 Madonna concerts.
I am about to be 31 years old. Those are the only concerts I have ever been to in my whole life. I love music.
The Madonna concerts were worth every single penny! EVERY Single penny! When the new Madonna tour was announced, my only concern that was she would play in ATL while we were on the ship. WRONG she is not playing ATL at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sooooooooo upset with her about that (silly I know) I am also upset about the ticket prices. SHe just keeps going higher and higher (much like DCL). My head says do not go. Too much money for one night of entertainemnt. Then my heart gets jinvolved and says gogogogogogogo! I have actually looked at the dates, and thought of possible shows I could attend.
There is Phoenix on June 8th. Chicago on June 18th, Atlantic City on July 18th and NYC on July 3rd. THere is also Miami, but I am not so sure of it or NYC actually.
There is no one that loves Madonaa as much as I do(as far as my friends go). They would not be willing to pay for a ticket plus airfare and hotel yadda yadda.....I will be solo. All in all it will end up costing me about $1000 for ticket/air and travel expense. I want to do it sooooooooo bad! But the grown up in me says heck no!!! It doesnt help that DH says, "if it will make you happy, go"
I am worried about traveling to these major cities alone. I kinda want to do ATL City because the venue is so small. It only holds 22000 people....

I am so torn..if you are still with me thank you....WWYD?+

Where is she singing in Atlantic City?

A man calls home to his wife and says, "Honey I have been asked to go
fishing at a big lake up in Canada with my boss and several of his
friends. We'll be gone for a week. This is a good opportunity for me to
get that promotion I've been wanting so would you please pack me enough
clothes for a week and set out my rod and tackle box. We're leaving
from the office and I will swing by the house to pick my things up. Oh!
Please pack my new blue silk pajamas."

The wife thinks this sounds a little fishy but being a good wife she does exactly what her husband asked. The following weekend he comes home a little tired but otherwise looking good.

The wife welcomes him home and asks if he caught many fish? He says, "Yes! Lot's of Walleye, some Bluegill, and a few Pike. But why didn't you pack my new blue silk pajamas like I asked you to do?"

The wife replies "I did....they were in your tackle box."

Women will ALWAYS outsmart men...

Good one. We're sooo smart.
