Is it just me? Or does anyone else have trouble seeing Ray? It took me a while to focus on him. I kept seeing the little "fish" in the background.

Ang

I am trying to blend in behind the scenes, then if people have a hard time seeing me I can hang out on deck 7 and keep and eye on all those trouble making teens :rotfl:

Ohiominnie,
OOPS!!I hope I used the wrong word!! But I have heard stories about what happens on deck 7 at night!! :p :teeth:
Barbara

I don't anything REALLY bad happens at night on deck 7.....I think they lock it at dark. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (which I never am!!) HA HA HA HA HA

So, someone tell me the teen thing is really not hard and all the books exaggerate.... COME ON! SOMEONE TELL ME!!!!
Barbara

Sorry, can't tell you. We're just STARTING the roller coaster emotions here. 11 yr old dd was crying hysterically before ballet b/c she couldn't get her hair in a pony tail tonight.

And, I myself, was never a problem teen. :)

This is probably a stupid question, but have you logged out first before trying to register a new user? (OK - yes, that was a stupid question! :rotfl2: )

I just checked with DD12 who said you can't use the same email address :confused3 Could that be your problem?

Leave it to a kid to know... I keep mine busy opening child-proof bottles for me! :confused3 I'm sure if I just put Chelsea on she would have it in a second...

And the first few times I did not log out... so not so stupid. Remember, I did put the Computer Idiot warning on that post. :rotfl2: :badpc:

Welcome DBCS! Our cabin is next to the deck 7 overlook. We will peep around the partition and check things out every now and then. Of course, last cruise we had the same cabin and folks peeped around at us on our veranda.

Sue

How RUDE! I guess we'd better not try it, then...;)

And I am such a newbie to the whole teen-scene I am being a real worry wart! So, someone tell me the teen thing is really not hard and all the books exaggerate.... COME ON! SOMEONE TELL ME!!!!

Well, I have 2 grown daughters that are somewhat normal, and I'm not totally insane, yet. I'm just hoping that boys are easier. Welcome, by the way. We're me, Sandi, dh, Larry (carvinfool, but isn't online much) and ds, Caleb (11). One of my dd's was a 'normal' teen, hardly ever moody or in trouble. The other dd turned into some sort of alien around age 12 and didn't become human again until around age 18.:confused3

Ohiominnie,

We are actually taking our first break from dance in 7 years!! DD13 did her solo last year and I thought that was going to do me in! Two recitals, six dances and six costumes!! :Pinkbounc :hyper2: :Pinkbounc

No worries, I had actually seen that before at a writing workshop for teachers. They used it as one of those funny warning things... of course we all stated using it as our inside joke! There's that and my horrible attention span and spelin' skils!!

I am also a big fun-poker, so if I ever say anything to anyone just poke back! :lmao:

We've ALREADY started the emotional roller coster & Emily is only 5.5! Tonight she cried uncontrollably because her gymnastics class was cancelled but Ashley's was not. Does that mean I'm in for big trouble once she hits teen years???

DS and DH are watching 'Chicken Little' we checked out from the library. It's not one that I wanted to see, so I can DIS while they're having a bonding time.

Really, it's a much better story when the details are left out... ;)

I'll let those who witnessed the event fill you in on the details...I've only heard 2nd, 3rd, or 4th hand... :)

I'll have Matt post it. He was there first hand.

Nope, Ang. It's just you :confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl: .

Does this mean I'm getting old???? I do turn the big 4-0 later this year! No, wait, Ray did say he was trying to blend in to the background. So, I did see it the way I was supposed to. :lmao:

Ang

It's a beautiful evening here. We took the dogs for a walk down the road and back. The only thing is that we have an invisible fence, so to take them for a walk I have to put them in the van, back out to the end of the driveway and let them out. We didn't train them to have a 'gate' to walk through. They won't get anywhere near where the wire is buried.

AHHHHH, Friday evening and finally at home. I love Friday evenings. Ashley is going to the movies with friends and we have nothing going on.
.

And that is my new typical Friday night. Sharon and Lisa do not get home until 10 PM on Friday nights so it's just me.

Since Sharon did not take the lap top I can't even DIS with her. Guess I'll have to wait until she comes home to DIS with her. :cool1:

I should be so young. I passed the big 5-0 awhile ago. In fact, I booked this cruise on that big event. If Ray is trying to blend in, I guess I'd better pretend that I can't see him so well, kinda like when you play peek-a-boo with a baby. Maybe if I take off my bi-focals... Yeah, he blends in better without them on.

I'm outta here. I need to go do some laundry then hit the sack. I wish it was this kind of laundry :drinking1:rolleyes1 but it's the real thing  .

Have fun getting to that milestone tonight.

I actually bought it, after thinking it was one of those 'skip' pictures. It's actually a lot better than the commercials made it out to be. More than enough injokes to keep everyone happy.

Honestly, I am making my DD13 sound like a cadidate for a teen bootcamp. She is actually a very responsible and sweet kid. But I have always held the belief that the min I say "Not my child... " they will! And my last teaching position was at a Jr High and that was enought to scare me to death!! And I am such a newbie to the whole teen-scene I am being a real worry wart! So, someone tell me the teen thing is really not hard and all the books exaggerate.... COME ON! SOMEONE TELL ME!!!!
Barbara

Don't ask me. Matt turns 16 tomorrow. My neighbors tell me every year it just gets worst. The problems are bigger. That's not what you want to hear, but that is what I am finding out.
