An FYI for the parents of the group. I posted a getting to know you quiz over on the teens and tweens thread. Hopefully it will get them talking more and really getting to know each other.

You are TOOOOOO good! I thought about doing that, but didn't get around to it yet. Thought maybe their conversations could go farther than "I got a TOP" "no you didn't" and "you spelled that wrong!"

Went for dinner to an Italian place that was really yummy and different!

So do any other tweens have boys calling the house at 10pm - DH just informed me this happened last night!!!! FREAK FREAK FREAK!!!!

No, they don't call the house. They call their cell phones, which is why I check the cell phone bill every month.

Good morning, cruisers! Only 9 weeks to go! Yeah!

What's everyone up to today? We're off to the mall when it opens - gotta take our iMac back for the THIRD time to figure out why it keeps turning itself off at strange times (like, when we're WORKING on it!). Grrr... Maybe do some shopping for Erin's spring/summer (read: CRUISE!) clothes. Dinner out tonight with friends (for which Jim wants to pre-order/pre-pay for an awesome bottle of wine so our friends don't pay for any of it). It's a kids-free dinner, which should be fun, and another celebration of my new-found joblessness. Let me say it again...

Other than that, loads of laundry (no pun intended) and maybe some scrapbooking. THAT would be nice... I've been really bad about that.

Since I got the top I know Kevin is out diving in the Blue Hole.

Kevin is diving is 62 degree water. Kevin will do that and Irene won't even go out in 9' seas. Sad, especially since I'm DISing on the pool deck with a bottle of rum!

I see you're making good use of that wireless internet card!!! Use any neighbors service lately??

For us, it's the girls that call the house that late for Jared. Very seldom did a boy call that late.

He just called again and Aub told him that he cannot call this late at night!!
I told Aub he cannot be rude but she is only 11 and I don't need boys calling her at all never mind the time!!!

Please post them. There are several people on this thread that enjoy wines.

I order and private label a wine when I go with a big group. I have just ordered the wine to be labeled.

Before the cruise I will post a picture of the private label and let people order them, assuming my kids can carry them all on board. And that is the story about 26 bottles of wine on my last cruise.

I'm hoping to have an early night as it's Hebrew school tomorrow and my weekly visit to our friends bagel shop and 3 hours of socializing before picking them up.

They are both grounded to I am going to give them extra school work to do and I'm sure I will get groans and complaints!!!

Jay's rude to them when he answers the phone, too. I try to at least be pleasant because they way kids are these days, if you're nasty, they'll take it out on your kid.
Don't worry too much about the phone calls (when they call earlier, anyway!)...if you listen to them, they don't talk much. It's actually kind of cute.

Awwww Shiann - thank you. Mark and I just like to have fun cruises and what is more fun than to be sharing it with some many great people like our DIS family.

I had to break the news on the next 10 Night Christmas cruise thread that we aren't going....I hate that. We have some good friends on that cruise that were on the 1st 10 night with our crazy group.
There's just no way I could take the kids out of school for a week, and it will probably be finals time.

Still, it's hard when you enjoy the people who are going, and like to chat with them.

I forgot.....they are finally building something new where the Submarine Voyage used to be. A "Finding Nemo" attraction! We were up on the Monorail platform, watching construction and taking pictures. I think Jared would have stayed there all day watching.

Oh dear! Nine weeks? Weight loss...zero.....but I've figured out how I can lose 40 pounds before the cruise.....cut off both my legs!

That exact light bulb went off over my head, too. I have to get on the excelerated plan. I have incentive though. I just bought a pair of pants that are a little too small. I am going to work on losing it a lot better. I think we can both do it. Good luck to you.
