All fixed. I've also updated the spreadsheet so that when we make buttons the buttons will have their screen names on them.

Lauren's is Dancingpiglet.... She posted once last night - but had to study for tests - and now will be out of town until Sunday.... Going to a dance competition in Cleveland....

THANKS wasnot sure of the ship
is that the 1 stacey was on ?????????

No...we were on the Caribbean Princess. And it wouldn't have been me starting a fire in my cabin, I don't smoke in the room. Whew.

Yes, we're home. Came in, left to go get dinner and then we were telling Jay all about the trip. Both of them! The knee feels better after not being on it at all today. I did have to get up on the plane and stretch some. Swelling appears to be going down, so unless it gives me a lot more trouble, I'll just keep babying it for a while. Now to do something about the bruised pride!! I've never been so embarrassed.

Hey, gaRry.....thought of a new nickname for you.....PATE.......goose liver....:lmao: ...get it??......love ya!

Did I tell you the worst part about that little trip?? As I'm rolling backward on the Doom Buggy conveyor belt, Jared tried to help me up...got me about halfway off the floor, and dropped me! :rotfl2: I honestly didn't no whether to laugh or cry at that point. But I chose crying. It helped keep the gathering crowd from laughing at me.

I went on Space Mountain using their special lift car.....very cool how that works.
But the kids wanted to go a second time in a row...too much for me. So they left me in my wheelchair in the video arcade outside Space Mountain. I played the "Grab Game"....the Claw.....and Kevin, guess what I won??

A PINK MONKEY!

Last night, we were having dinner at the Mexican restaurant between Big Thunder Mountain and the Shooting Gallery, and a little baby possum wandered past. At first I thought it was like the animatronic deer at WDW...but it was real...and cute.
We took a picture, but sadly may have temporarily blinded the little nocturnal dude.

Almost forgot....CRUISE RELATED.......I had an e-mail from our concierge on the Norwegian ship. Chankanaab is back up and running, fully operational...EXCEPT...still no dolphins there.

And she said Tulum was so badly damaged that they have not reopened it yet. I'm thinking that maybe we should look at doing something else beside Tulum, and book it now, so we aren't left out in the cold. Or sun, as the case may be.

Jim - well you know the area best so we'll take you word on it. JB's will be fine with or without rock shrimp.

Just tell us when to be there and we will.

Added bonus for anyone coming to the pre-cruise meet. You can have your buttons and navigator that night. Assuming of course that Jim lets us ship the box to his house and he brings the box that night. ;)

I think we can work that out.

Hey, Mary....I noticed that the kids have their DIS id's on your website. Could you add KT and Nick's??

KT is *KT*

Nick is BuckeyeNick

When you have a chance....in fact, wait a bit....maybe more parents will chime in with their kids' screen names so you can change them all at once. :)

THX!

That is just mean to make Nick where his screen name on his button. Where is social services when you need them?

New here and to cruising? Did you book these ruins thru DCL. We booked the Tulum ones because that is all we saw in book. Can you give me info on this as really don't want to spend all day either but do want to see ruins. Thanks

DID ANYONE ANSWER YOU YET? We are doing th ruins on Costa Maya but did not book through DCL --- not sure if I would chance a non DCL tour on Coz - because of the disruption from the hurricane. If you have a Passporter - there is a section called "on your own" under each excursion, that will help.

Edited to add - see Stacey's post about the potential that the Tulum ruins may not be up and running yet.....

Debbie - welcome to the thread! I see you got your ticker working too - good job.

DCL does offer a tour to the San Gervasio ruins. Mark and I took it back in '03. It is on the island of Cozumel itself so much easier to get to. The ruins here aren't as big and grand as Tulum, but we thought it was a nice excursion. Not sure why it didn't show up for you on the DCL site. We aren't looking to do anything on Cozumel so didn't check that out on booking day.

Mary - I recall someone posting that the excursions may have been "taken"????
