Congrats to Stacey and OM! I totally missed that one.

I'm here agonizing over Ebay listings. I have this dress. I bought it because it's PRETTY. It's probably late 70s, but it isn't Boho, Prairie, Prom, Disco, Hawaiian, or any of the other keywords you have to use on Ebay or stuff never gets found.

Kevin, you may want to make an appointment to see your doctor. You now have FOUR monkeys....these three and the pirate one.

Better yet. Go to the ER and say "I have four monkeys. Can you help?" :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

OH MY GOODNESS. This was a totally unexpected TOP. And I have to share it with Kevin and his FOUR monkeys!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

I am watching closing bell on CNBC as there is a clip coming on about what kind of home $1 million buys and it is my cousin in South Florida Weston that is showing the house, it is in Weston and her daughters Batmitzvah we are going to in May.

We ended up booking a cabana massage for Friday. We weren't going to do any spa ressies, but we have enough rewards dollars that we decided to splurge. We could tell we had the linked dinner ressies when we registered Caleb for the lab and all of these STRANGE names popped up on the list to sign him out.

STRANGE who's STRANGE????? :confused3

Jake would play his for hours, but why did we cruise if that's all he wanted to do. It's a game for one, the cruise is for spending times with friends and family! JMO :thumbsup2

Good Morning All -

Cruise Question

Parents, are you bringing Game Boys, etc on the cruise?

I don't want to get the look from Nick.

Yep, that's the one. I just went ahead & booked one adult & one child snorkel rental. I may go ahead & buy cheap snorkel gear without fins from ToysRUs. The kids ones were under $10 and adult ones were around $15.

Thanks for the info on dressing for Palo. Bruce will be relieved.
Ang

Angie, Sams and Costco sell snorkel sets under $40, that is what we bought and have used them a couple of times and like having my own.

YES! She can wear her tiara. MAJOR difference between a little girl and a grown woman. And besides, the woman also had WIGS that looked like each Princess's hair.

Now you've put a dent in my style, I had my wigs and tiara all ready to pack!!

Our rule which worked well on our first cruise, is the kids have to join us for dinner the 1st three nights - after that it's up to them...We'll have extra chairs at late seating, I'm sure that my kids will be hurrying through their dinner to get up to the Lab...

My son left before desert every night on the Sept cruise and the last night we figured why, he went to chat to the room stewart and see what towel he did. :confused3

I noticed our local drug stores have them as well for children, but you cannot try on the mask - which is necessary to make sure it fits right.

How to tell if a mask fits...Kevin or Jim could do this better I am sure.

Place mask over face, without the strap over your head -- and make sure hair is not inside mask (guess what I always do wrong) breath in - does the mask "stick to your face, if so you have a seal and it fits. If not, mask is too big...and you have a goat.

Help me out here guys, I'm strugglin'

FIVE little monkeys jumpin' on the bed...one fell off and broke his head....
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said "No more monkeys jumpin' on the bed!

Anybody else ever sing that to their kids or am I a freak?

Yes and we have the book too.

Julia, what "kind" of house does $1million buy in Weston? I would have liked to have seen that! :sunny:

Pretty much it!!

You just want to make sure the mask fits around the eyes and under the nose properly with a good seal at the cheeks. Don't forget that you will have a snorkel in the mouth which can change things a bit.
Nice supple silicone is good for the mask skirt with tempered glass lenses.

Another nice thing you can get for the ones with lots of hair is a neoprene strap cover. Called a slap strap it goes over the back of the strap and makes putting and taking off the mask much nicer. Your hair won't get tangled up in it. Those are probably only available from a dive store. Check out Irene's new favorite place.

My goodness, that is a lot of posts to go through! It sounds like this is going to be quite the entertaining group of people to cruise with!

I have thought about purchasing my own snorkeling set from Costco, but I was afraid about the amount of space it will take up in the luggage. Is that really a concern with bringing your own equipment?

Trying to keep up with everyone...

ETA First TOP!!! (how did that happen???)

Hi all. NAP from Nashville here. Anyone know what movies will be playing in Walt Disney Theater on the 5/27 cruise? My DS really enjoys that part of the trip.
