Do your kids know about the cruise yet? I want to get them writing with Jake (5th) and Katie (3rd). Jake's written Courtney a few times and seems to be interested in it. Look forward to hearing from you and the kids.

Mike is also in 5th - and Maggie's in 3rd - They'd love to start meeting kids - if they would like to write them, too...

Exciting morning for us ... Emily has her 1st loose tooth! At first she was a little freaked out about it but think she is getting a little more excited.

WOW. Great job!! I just went back to try it (b/c I'm putting off my blood draw) and got to 23.57! Seemed like those blue blocks got faster and faster. Maybe it was just my imagination. The hard part is my eyes dry out b/c I can't blink. If I blink, I hit something.

Ok, really, off to get ready for the day. Blech.

OM - You're right. Those blue boxes go faster and faster. And that was NOT on my first try. I don't even think I lasted 1/2 second the first time. Really interesting though. Makes you think too much though. I don't like to do that too early in the morning. It hurts my brain--whatever is up there.

She just turned 5 1/2 at the end of Feb. I was surprised that she had a loose one already. I guess there is not set age; so, I won't get worried about it. I read for her K class recently and think she was probably the only one that didn't have a tooth missing. Most of the kids are already 6 though.

She just turned 5 1/2 at the end of Feb. I was surprised that she had a loose one already. I guess there is not set age; so, I won't get worried about it. I think Anthony is one of the last ones to lose any teeth, too. His birthday is in November, so he's one of the youngest in his class. Our cutoff is November 30 for school. I don't know WHO comes up with these dates.

My DD will be 7 in April and STILL hasn't lost a tooth! Of course everyone in her class has lost at least one some have lost three. She was getting a little down about it but we had a regular dentist appt. last week and she got such a good report on her brushing that she seems to be ok with it now.

I love the idea of having her write a note to the tooth fairy. At this rate it can double as her thesis.

I need to take the car in - it seems the air worked fine befre they replaced the strut and now no air....well, no air when it is hot, the air works fine in the morning and evening, but not when it is over 80....I can see it now, I drive the car in, complain, they test, the air works, I drive it out at lunch and it is hot and the air does not work,

oh woe is me......


and lucky to have such silly issues to complain about.

Irene, you live in FL, the car air conditioning is SERIOUS business.

We already have fires here in NM too. It's going to be a long season.
