Really? Rare blood type?? How's your liver??? :teeth: ;) I know someone who needs one.

I think she's using it, Stacey! But have I heard that it's possible to donate part of a liver? Still, probably best to get it the usual way, if possible.

I'm good to go for tomorrow. St. Martin, St. Thomas and the Bahamas are a-ok. Costa Maya is NOT...
So they'll only be able to bleed me between now and May. After that I have to wait a year. Shame.

They said it didn't matter if I didn't get off the ship. If I was in the area I was at risk for MALARIA!! :earseek:

Note to self: make sure everyone has plenty of bug stuff on in Costa Maya!

Thanks for the update, Stacey! Now praying for a suitable liver with that rare blood type. But at the same, hoping nothing bad happens to OM.

Our Trader Joes' opened today! It was such excitement (I know, I need a life)! I bought a case of Two Buck Chuck, though in NM, it's Three Buck Chuck. Got the Chardonnay, will get the Cab next time. Didn't want to buy two cases since I had to park at the grocery store across the street. They built a small one here, they obviously don't know how much we Albuquerqueans like to EAT!

But see, when I have it AFTER dinner, it deters me from dessert. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! Actually, I have been a dark chocoholic since way before it was fasionable. Kevin should know that.
I DO, I DO!!

But if a lighter version was offered would you turn it away????

:wave2: That's me swatting sand flies!! :wave2:

Hi All - What is with the nice weather?!? 79, sunny and breezy. I finally pre-registered Nick for the Lab. Also booked the stingray swim on CC for Friday at 10am. Liz will go with him cause I REALLY don't want an 'up close and personal' with creatures in the water. That is it for us.

I make a pilgrimage to Trader Joe's when I'm back in Chicago visiting my parents...I'm soo jealous!!! I even like their healthy snack foods...

Warning, Warning, Bragging Parent Alert....

This has been a banner week at the Isgren House...

Monday - Mike's team won the post-season championship (he got embarassed when I showed him the congrat posts from y'all )

Tuesday, two letters were mailed home one for each child from the principal. They were voted "student of the month" by their teachers, representing each of their classes. Rare for two kids from the same family in one month. I was the sadistic mom and messed with them a bit..."The principal sent me letters home about you....Now WHY do you think she'd do that...What did you do that she felt she had to write home to us...." :lmao: Tough to keep a straight face when dh is also struggling to maintain composure...

And on Wednesday, Mike's artwork was chosen to represent the school at the local Art Alliance Gallery...

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! WTG, KIDS!!!!

Not to one up your kids or anything, but my kids are voted student of the month for their class EVERY month!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: HA!

Except my one student of the month isn't very happy right now b/c she tried to whiz through her math problems and got a 25% on them. So she's redoing them! If she doesn't stop this attitude I'm going to send her DIRECTLY to the principal's office!!!

o.k. - the scuba's needed to borrow Stacey's treo - it's 5:00 time for the award ceremony...

Gotta get moving - John's cousin is coming to babysit in less than an hour. I'm picking John up at school and then we're off to the rodeo again. This time in the nose-bleed suites and no parking pass - We sure were spoiled last week!

The new food at the rodeo this year is pizza on a stick... :confused3 Gotta go find the fried twinkie booth :thumbsup2 (no way no how am I posting that on our WISH thread... :lmao: )

KT's advice to you....only eat ONE fried twinkie! If you eat TWO fried twinkies AND popcorn AND corn dipped in butter AND lemonade shake ups AND ribs AND funnel cake...

You WILL throw up...

and it WILL be greasy!!

Life lesson in moderation!!! :)

nope. it sure wasn't. as bad parents we never once said "maybe you shouldn't eat that, you're going to get sick." we just kept buying it!

LUCKILY she made it home. I couldn't imagine that in the car!!!

Sounds like our first Thanksgiving in FL... the kids insisted on going in the pool after dinner... dinner for Elizabeth consisted of the usual Deep Fried Turkey Day dinner, and she HAD to have all 3 desserts... pumpkin pie, pecan pie AND bread pudding... ALL covered in WAY too much whipped cream. I've never seen a kid get out of the pool so fast in my entire life!!!! Told ya so!!!!!
