Why is it that hotels NEVER have the Travel Channel???? Don't they realize that most of us stuck in hotel rooms on business would RATHER be somewhere else!!!! Oh well...

That is sooo true. Well dont worry it is an old one that we have seen at least 4 times but it still bring back so many fun memories. And I cant wait to be back!

I understand how the travel is, last year I was on the road 4-5 days a week the whole year! I know it will start up again soon so that is why I am really enjoying being home right now.

Dallas this week, Philly 2 weeks later, Boston 2 weeks after that (for a wedding, not business)... all before the cruise!!! Then it will quiet down til August or September... I'm never gone for more than 3 nights, and only about every other month, so its not too bad... sometimes its a break!

Dh is whining, "If you are on the computer, can I change the channel, we have seen this one!" I respond, "No, I can see the TV from the computer so I can talk to my friends while I actually see the ship!"

Yes, that sound more managable. DD is with my folks in San Antonio tonight since it is spring break. She is has been gone for 4 days, the first day, I almost decided to drive down and join them because I missed her so much. But I know it is good to have some (very little ) time apart.

Yes, that sound more managable. DD is with my folks in San Antonio tonight since it is spring break. She is has been gone for 4 days, the first day, I almost decided to drive down and join them because I missed her so much. But I know it is good to have some (very little ) time apart.

So DD calls me to say goodnight from San Antonio (Sea World with my folks). She sounds her usual fine. My mom proceeds to tell me that they LOST her for half an hour in the play area at Sea World!!!! It was crowded and they could not see where she came out of the jungle gym. Mom went to lost and found while Dad stayed to look for her. She could not see them so went to a policeman. WHAT! My baby! Ok she is almost 7 but still freak out.

All is ok and they are supposed to go back to Sea World in the morning. Mom promised they will only go to shows and she will not let go of Helena. I believe that, Mom was really shook up. (Helena remember was fine). I suggested to Dad that the write their cell phone number on her arm (she has ours memorized).

Boy were we lucky.

When are you all leaving? We are flying the Friday just before. I have two boys ages 3 and 6 ( ages will be the same during cruise). I have been lazy and haven't added us to Marys list. I need to.
What part of Dallas do you live in? We are going to Six Flags this friday, thats our big spring break! LOL DH says we need to save more $$$ due to that I over spend on the Disney trips!

I was too worried about rates going up so we booked air last month. We are on AA and we are staying 3 extra days after the cruise also. We are staying at the Swan. Can't wait!!

yikes - that would have scared me! Went to the Livestock show and Rodeo Sunday with the kids - Mike (11) was doing the eye roll thing because I was making him hold my hand out to the parking lot - we had the misfortune of leaving the grounds at the same time the concert was letting out...

Helena was a smart girl to find a policeman! Glad everything thing turned out fine
