Good Day All! The memoridal service was yesterday and it was beautiful and a wonderful turn-out from the community. I was asked to write a memory verse and "thanks Amanda" for one of your comments, I used it.

Today we are all helping out with the house, until it started raining.

We are thinking of heading home tomorrow and yes, JB's is stil on the list.

We have some tough sit down sessions ahead, but it will all work out.

I saw this and mentioned it to DH, AND we are now staying at the Radisson on Friday night..yeah!!!! I will gently mention the dinner at JB's Friday night.

I looked at the port cam today so our cruise must be becoming a reality to me! Can't wait!!!!

Speaking of port cam, DH googled, "google earth" and saw her docked. It is fun, try it....

Ps. on another note.. cause I'm tired of worrying about this reservation thing. LOL Any of you have a "secret" way to get grease splatter stains off a shirt? You know- like hypothetically say you were cooking fried eggs and bacon and it decided to all the sudden on the LAST egg you were cooking to go ballistic and splatter grease all over your shirt? If you have a secret, let me know... I've never been able to get grease stains like that out -spray n wash or shout never works on it. I got CREAMED by my grease just a minute ago. We're not talking one little splatter- it's all little spots all over my shirt. *pout* --- Ideas?

Try some Dawn dishwashing detergent and then wash. Works well.

We are having a cold and gloomy day here in ATL, haven't been out yet but planning on if I can remove myself from this laptop.

For my 40th I got a massage certificate and manicure/pedicure so saving them to use the week before we leave on the cruise, my mom once had a massage while travelling in Hong Kong and whatever they did they messed up her back and she was in pain for a week after that and it ruined her vacation, so I stay away from these kinda things while vacationing but love to go to the spa here. 'renew day spa' is the one I love here.

Julia, where is Renew Day Spa? Do they have multiple locations? I bought us the Spa Finder gift certificates for Christmas. One of the places that you can go is Mind & Body Day Spa. I was thinking of trying them since they are very near the house. There is an athlete's massage that sounds great for DH. No massages for me for a while ... so I'll be getting some sort of foot healing pedicure ... my feet get sooooo dry!

Tried to go to the 12:30 Curious George showing to get there & find out it was sold out! I bought tixs for a later showing ... came home to let Ashley nap. Need to go wake her up so we can head out soon.

I only know of one Renew Day Spa in metro Atlanta. It's on Shallowford Road near Johnson Ferry Road (Marietta) and it gets rave reviews!! I used to live nearby before I moved to Gwinnett County, but have never been.

Julia, is that the location you use?

DO ELEPHANTS REALLY REMEMBER EVERYTHING?

An elephant was drinking at a watering hole when a turtle approached.

All I can conclude from that is that they MUST hold some slots back....they would have to.....because there's always something still available, even for those who book when they get on the ship.

When I called before our last cruise they said they only release a cretain amount of each for pre-booking to give people who don't have internet access he option to book on board, they said all the pre-booking for Palo's were booked but to book on oard and there were lots available, I'm sure the spa does the same thing.

Yeah - what's up with this weather anyway?!!! I need to get out too - keep waiting for it to clear up some. Did you hear how cold we're going to be the next few mornings in Atlanta?

I've heard lots of good things about Renew. Guess I'll have to try it sometime!

They have a wonderful website and it is so relaxing there, try it you will love it.
