Julia, where is Renew Day Spa? Do they have multiple locations? I bought us the Spa Finder gift certificates for Christmas. One of the places that you can go is Mind & Body Day Spa. I was thinking of trying them since they are very near the house. There is an athlete's massage that sounds great for DH. No massages for me for a while ... so I'll be getting some sort of foot healing pedicure ... my feet get sooooo dry!

Tried to go to the 12:30 Curious George showing to get there & find out it was sold out! I bought tixs for a later showing ... came home to let Ashley nap. Need to go wake her up so we can head out soon.

It is on Shallowford road just past Johnson ferry in East Cobb, they have a cool website too

They have a wonderful website and it is so relaxing there, try it you will love it.

That's what I'm afraid of -- that I WILL love it!!! I used to live just a few miles from it; now it's a good 60 to 90 minute drive there!!

Hi, Angie!

I only know of one Renew Day Spa in metro Atlanta. It's on Shallowford Road near Johnson Ferry Road (Marietta) and it gets rave reviews!! I used to live nearby before I moved to Gwinnett County, but have never been.

Julia, is that the location you use?

That is there only location, the owners were chiropractors and when the market was flooded of them they decided o go into the spa, they just recently won some awards.

We went shopping and bought Tivo so now DH has to set it up, it will probably lie in the box for a while.
The kids have been gone since after school yesterday and it is so quiet. :thumbsup2

That is the problem, when you start going the more you go the more you want to go, it's also hard to find the days on the weekends to take a whole morning for myself where the kids don't have to be places.

I will look into Renew - guess it'll just have to be a very special treat because I'm sure I wouldn't get to do it very often!

Hi all! Had a friend over today to work on her circle journal from the Member Cruise. I even got one page done on my 2005 book. I'm sure I'll do a lot more tomorrow. I was really concentrating on helping her. Her book looks awesome!

Sharon - looks like Jim is coming home early and wet. The postponed both races until tomorrow.

Yes, Jim is home early. We came home at about 5:30. It was not a total waste. We park at Hooters so we were able to have some wings during the rain.

I'm still trying to work the schedule out for tomorrow, but hopefully I will be able to make church, the races, and then JBs, and then a dinner at night.

Tomorrow is the last Sunday for our minister. He is retiring after 25 years. Even I think it rather rude to miss celebrating 25 years of service for a race. I'll try to work it out so everyone is happy.

DS says he knows the picture he wants so he'll be getting one to you soon.

thank you

We just got home... we spent about 3 hours in the Daytona Club (thanks, Ray)... so we sat where it was dry, ate prime rib and blueberry cobbler while the kids played XBox racing games until they officially cancelled the race.

My brother came down from CT for the weekend, and was supposed to fly back to CT tomorrow morning... looks like his flight will be cancelled due to the 'blizzard', so he'll probably luck out and still be able to see the race.

Mike has tickets for Daytona Club starting on Thursday. To bad he did not have them today because we sure could have use them.
