Not a problem. I sitting here right now enjoying my first cup of coffee made with freshly ground beans thanks to your advise.
Don't just love that!! :teeth: :surfweb:

One of the things I don't like about Disney, they serve crappy coffee at the restaurants. Especially after roasting and grinding my own fresh!! :yay:

Hey Diana -- at least at 1 a.m. for us, we can still go to bed or back to bed to get some more sleep. If I had to get up at 3 a.m., I doubt that I could go back to sleep.

Just think of those of us that will have to be up at 3 a.m. knowing that our alarms will start going off at 4:45 a.m.! That's going to be one rough day for me! And, I'm in the 75 day group so I hope getting up at that awful hour will even be worth it.

Thanks Maria! You must have missed my question to you earlier about your kitchen.....Has it been all broken in???

Amanda..I am livin' large. I am like a pig in poop. I LOVE IT!!! And yes, it's all broken in, including the fireplace (which I light every day). We had Christmas Day and New Year's Day here and both went without a hitch. Used both wall ovens and the stovetop to their fullest. It's just nice to be in a kitchen when you're not bumping butts with someone else that's in there. And having the family room and kitchen right next to eachother, I could have a conversation with someone while preparing. It's a GREAT improvement. Thanks for asking. Sorry I missed your post.

Hey Maria,

I probably asked this before but can't remember. What edition of Passporter do you have? Do you have the 3rd? I was hoping they'd have the 4th out by cruise time but now am not so sure. Just wondering if the 3rd has any info on Costa Maya in it. I have the 2nd & it doesn't. I received an email the other day with a code to get the 3rd ed. at 1/2 price.

I'm trying to figure out how to get John's expresso machine onboard. Maybe he'll just have to bring his coffee press..

Ang - I'm right with you. I hope there's something left for us to pick from. Did you calculate the exact day for us "75" people?

I don't have to get up at 4:45 after the 3:00, but knowing me, I won't be able to get back to sleep after that. Call me, we'll chat. :)

Angie - I have the 3rd edition and I just checked it for ports of call and NO, Costa Maya is not in there. It does list it as one of the Special Western cruises, but does not list it in the Ports Of Call section. It is nice to have to read and make notes. The 4th edition is supposed to come out in April I think. Too late to make ressies, right? Did you get the cruise kit? That has Costa Maya in it and all the ports. I think Mark copied the entire packet for everyone who didn't get it. PM Mark and see if he could e-mail it to you or something. I don't remember what page it was on. I'm sorry I'm not too much help. If you were looking specifically for Costa Maya, I would wait for the 4th edition. If not, go ahead and get the 3rd for 1/2 off. Hope this helps.

Thanks Maria. I'm just going to wait until the 4th is available. I do have Mark's packet bookmarked. I'm going to call my TA today to see why I haven't gotten mine.

As for ressies, I haven't calculated what the 75 day mark is ... guess I'll need to figure it out. I wonder if they only allow some # of slots for people at the 90 day mark then release more for those of us at 75. I thought that I read on the main board that they hold some slots for those that have to book on board. I don't think we're doing any official excursions but I do want to make Palo ressies ... might have to take Stacey up on her offer. I also want to enroll the kids in the clubs.

You know if you had friends in Florida who were driving to the port they could be a coffee maker and coffee grinder and you would only have to worry about the coffee itself.

:coffee: :stir:

And just for the record. I don't drink coffee.

I would wait for the 4th edition, too. I think I'm gonna have to look at the calendar and figure out that 75 day mark. It's coming up faster and faster. I want to make Palo and get the kids into the clubs, too. I just started talking to my family about excursions and they are interested in some of the excursions. From what I'm seeing on the main boards, there's not much to do in Costa Maya anyway. Anybody from this group care to elaborate or agree on that?
