Wow... you guys have been a chatty bunch this weekend...

We just got back from spending the weekend in Tampa. We DID make it past midnight on New Year's Eve... we were at the BarenakedLadies concert at the Forum in Tampa... if you were watching Anderson Cooper on CNN, you saw us there. (Well... not us, but other people... the ones who were stuck with SRO tickets... we were in the Bud suite...)

Yesterday, we figured we'd take a ride to the FL Estate winery... only to find them closed for the holiday... oh well... wandered around the mall, had a great time watching football at a mobbed sports bar, and then took a good powernap before heading to dinner at Bonefish Grill. We were planning to go to Howl at the Moon (I didn't realize Tampa had one)... but THEY were closed last night too.

Today, we went to the Outback Bowl... gorgeous day, 82 degrees and sunny, unfortunately, the Gators won (we hate the Gators... we were rooting for Iowa, just because they're NOT the Gators) Of course the "BIG" game is on now... Go Fighting Irish!!! (Sorry, OM... Ray is a lifelong ND fan... even though he didn't go there)

I had to laugh catching up on posts... especially about oven cleaning... the first thing my mom said when we got home was "While you were gone, I cleaned the oven..."

Back to work tomorrow... oh what fun. One more day off for the kids. Guess Elizabeth had better start on that Social Studies project that Lisa already finished!!!

PJ Day draws to an end and here I sit in my PJs finishing up the OSU-ND game. Never did get dressed today. To bad the bowl games weren't a little closer today.

Tomorrow morning when I am driving to Orlando for a 7:30 breakfast meeting I'll remember how today was a chill out day.

Maybe I should call in sick tomorow and clean the oven.

What did you think of the new Georgia Aquarium and sorry the weather sucked while you were here, last week was great fall weather.

I did not work today, not a bit. Went and played with DD, had lunch and hung out. I even took her to Target to finish off her Christmas money. We never get to do this kind of thing during school, she's way too busy, is that a good excuse?

Loved the pics, Stacey. Yes, you need a bit of education in sizing photos, but at least we can see them well.

Going back to my corner on the couch. I hate to even say this out loud...but I think I feel a flu bug coming on. Is that fair? I just had a cold. But everything aches...maybe it's just the cold weather in my old joints. Maybe it's the arm that got hit by the automatic door at the Houston airport. That's what I get for following Jay IN the OUT door.
