All undecorated on the inside. If the weather is good tomorrow will bring in the little bit we have outside. Then we can start the new year nice and clean and I can enjoy Monday!

All undecorated on the inside

We are now all undocoreated inside and outside. The house is also clean.....just in time to go back to work on Tuesday. :guilty: I felt there was NO reason to clean while on vacation. Anyone second that motion! :confused3

Me, me!!! (But then again, with Mom & Dad here, they do it before I even get a chance to...)

We are headed to Tampa tomorrow... going to the BNL New Year's Eve concert at the Forum, and to the Outback Bowl on Monday... go IOWA!!! (Not particularly a Hawkeye fan, but can't bring myself to root for those god-awful Gators!!) This will be a kid-free weekend... guess we should pack the Banfi!

Hi all... Getting ready to go to work. I work 10p-7a tonight and tomorrow night... when I get off on New Year's day Kristin, Lauren and I are driving to Atlanta for the Sugar Bowl. Any of the Georgians going to be in town? Let me know!

Hope that everybody has a safe and joyous New Year!!!

Virgil,

So sorry we're going to miss you. Believe me, Rachel, our 21 y/o UGA Junior REALLY wanted to cancel our trip to NYC so she could go to the Sugar Bowl!

I hope you enjoy our weather (supposed to be in the 60's in Atlanta; NYC is going to be rainy and :cold: )!! Have a safe, fun trip and may the better team win!! (Go Dawgs!)

Happy New Year everyone - see y'all in 2006!!!

Good morning Cruisers!

We sail in 21 weeks!

Woo Hoo - Another week closer to cruising!

Good Morning Everyone!

Mike's room is done - it looks wonderful! John put a lot of hard work into it this week - now, makes me want to get the rest of the bedrooms finished. Unfortunately, that will have to wait until June after John graduations. I made Mike swear on his game cube to keep it neat and organized for at least a day...

The kids swapped houses with friends last night - the boys slept here and the girls at another house. I think I got the best end of the deal - Mike and his friend have only surfaced out of his room for food...The dads got up bright and early to fish this morning in the gulf...Historically, it's been more of a boat ride than a fishing trip. Maybe they saw Stacey when the ship pulled in... ;)

Fighting a sinus infection, ugh...supposed to go to a party tonight - we'll see if I make it...

We are at the Houston airport. We didn't have any problem getting off the ship & through customs. I had thought we might be cutting it close, with a flight leaving at 11:30, but we've been here for over an hour already. We had a great time, but I'm tired & ready to sleep in my own bed.

Welcome home Stacey - can't wait to hear all the details.

Welcome back.

That's the same thing with us. No matter how good the trip was, the allure of sleeping in your own bed makes coming home a good thing.

Stacey, so glad you had a great cruise! Can't wait to hear about it.

We just booked our flights for May, that makes it seem real, doesn't it? I guess actually paying for the cruise will be next. Now we have to figure out transportataion. Since we are getting there on May 22, we will get a car. But we are leaving at 5 pm on June 3rd. Kevin says car so we can go have lunch at Bahama Breeze, but I say DCL transportation so we don't have to deal with the luggage! This debate could go on for a while. I think we will have to eat at Bahama Breeze BEFORE the cruise.

They really need to put a Bahama Breeze here in Albuquerque.

Which brings up some questions, we have never used DCL transportation. Is it still $30 per person, one way? Do they only handle luggage for certain airlines, we are flying Southwest? And does anyone know what time we will get to the airport, I assume we can leave after second seating breakfast?

I may have to ask these questions on the main cruise board (shudder). I'm thinking we need an earlier flight back, so we don't have to sit around the airport all day, though a day room at the Hyatt with nap time might be nice.

Our flight back isn't until 7:30, so we've already arranged for a town car and a day room at the Hyatt. We did have a rental car reserved, but decided that we didn't want to have to drive around and find things to do all day. After our relaxing cruise we just wanted to continue the 'relaxation' theme.

Speaking of transportation to and from the port. Mike has put me in charge of getting from MCO to the port. I'm leaning town car (FL town car) but thought wouldn't they be surprised if a LIMO pulled up to get us?? We only need it one way.....after the cruise we're getting a one way rental car and visiting Gma Lightbulb.

Btw, this is for the cruise coming up THIS week!!!

Any suggestions on limo companies?

Shucks. The word on Banfi has spread. I went to my "supplier." They were completely out of the big bottles. I had to get two medium sized bottles (at a premium price, btw)....saw the cutest little "single serve" bottles, but still not big enough for a single serve! ;)

Well you could try FL Town Car - they are one of the sponsors here on the DIS. I think there is a link for them over on the transportation board.

After the 10 day we used Southern Elegance and had a white limo. It was wonderful and the driver was very very nice and very professional.

I know it is still several hours away............
But just wanted to wish everyone safe travels tonight, if you are going to out.

We have a party to go to, but lucky for us, it is across the street at a neighbors house.

The only "down side" to the party, it that it does not start until 9.....just about the time I'm ready to put my p.j.'s on. (OK...yes I'm usually in bed by 10!)

Be Safe!
