Not at all the timezone thing goofs me up all the time.

Due to the efforts of Stacy on the Member Cruise, here's the listing of when both will be on again.

For people without cable, I'll see about dvring it and you can computer watch it for real.

Thank you! Jared was a little put out with me. I'll give him this and let him be responsible for making sure we see it!

Mark....you may (or may not) find this interesting....since we missed the WDW shows, we watched the old movies of Jay's dad's that we had put on disk. He was in the Navy, at Pearl Harbor. There's some pretty amazing footage on there...all "home" movies that Ed shot himself. Even has Pres Truman on there. Pretty cool, I thought.

Diana, you can put anything you want on the bracelet. It doesn't have to have the school on there at all. Jordan's has her 1st name, the school letters CSHS, and the year she graduates....but you wouldn't have to do the school. You can add gems to it. We got a flyer from the school, to order their yearbooks, but then I went online to "make" the bracelet. I guess it's just www.jostens.com

Okay.....so no one told me what sweet tea is, but I suppose I can guess. SWEET Tea.

All this talk about sweet tea. Born and raised in NM, there wasn't much sweet tea. In fact, I've had it twice but don't like it.........too sweet!! :earseek:

I like tea without any sugar. Will I be banned now??? :sunny:

I'm thinking both times were when we went to Texas and saw my relatives, right? It's an unknown quantity here in NM, for sure. If you were to ask for sweet tea, they would point out the sugar. So close here, and yet so far. I think a lot of NM residents are from the North, too.

Mark, thanks for the info on the shows. We need to catch those!

STacey, go back a couple of posts of mine to see the definition of sweet tea. You must have missed it. I did look up the bracelets, very nice! Is that instead of a ring?

Pam, glad to hear your Dad is doing better!

Jim, I ordered the lens that should allow me to do some macro shots. I've got some jewelry to sell, I need good pictures! Most of the dancer shots will feature Alicia, and Matt already knows what she looks like, right?

Are we already done with your trip report? I don't think I got enough details!

sweet tea vs unsweetened - oh boy another pepsi/coke debate :rotfl2:

Regular Tea drinker- great thing about Texas - it's plain ole' tea!!! Haven't given up all of them yankee ways yet - and I ain't fixin' to neither!

Another good thing about Texas - Sonic and Chick Fil-A !!! Gotta have those tator tots and waffle fries!!

Sorry, Diana! Guess I did miss it!
Jordan will probably still get a ring if she wants one, but not until she's a senior.
I'm finally at the tire place, getting the nail out...then to the office...payroll!

All of this talk of sweet tea & Chick-fil-a ... had to run out and get some! I had to run to the store to pick up more Extra Strength Tylenol. Chick-fil-a is right out front so I went through the drive-thru. YUMMY lunch!

I need to vent about work!!! Why did I decide to go back before the end of the year????!!! It's always a crazy time of the year. On Tues. my manager informed me that I would be sitting in on a daily status call with a client ... not a problem ... I can do that. The guy that is actually doing the work should NEVER be allowed to talk to clients ... does good work but doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut! Well late yesterday my manager sends an email saying that this co-worker will be on vacation next week & I'll be doing any coding/clean-up work that needs to be done in his abscence. Well, today I talk to this co-worker and asked him where he is on the list of things to be done. He hasn't started! I have a feeling that it's going to be rough week next week. I'm not looking forward to this.Ang

I am helping my sister pack for her move to Pa. I came across a green folder from the US Army. I opened it thinking it was recruiting stuff for the nieces. It was a commendation for my BIL. He was a communications something for the Army in Viet Nam. BIL never talks about his time in the service and we don't push him. Anyway this commendation lead to a medal that was not with the certificate. I asked my sis about it and she said John would be very upset to know I had read it. Kinda neat my BIL is a silent hero from an almost forgotten era.

I still hadn't started shopping for Ray... now he's getting 1/2 of a new washing machine. (I'm getting the other half... we figure, between the cruise, the new dishwasher that we need, and now the washing machine that we MUST buy, that just about covers it. Neither of us can come up with anything we really want for Christmas anyway...)

I hope he gets the bottom half of the machine. I'm sure you won't want him using your half, where the clothes are loaded and controlled.

You should probably take a picture of her eyes for him. :rotfl2:

1st Christmas card came yesterday - it was from my cousin - it usually is a race between the two of us to see who can get them out early. Since I just got the pictures back from the grocery store - she won this year...

Can't believe George and Laura forgot to send us a Christmas card. We're practically neighbors to his parents :rotfl2:

If I'm absent for the next 7 days - I'm watching 24 - just picked up the 3rd season from the library - my hold came in... 7 days to watch 24 episodes - I'm too cheap to pay the 25 cents a day fine...so, will have to forgo laundry, cleaning, errands until season 3 is over. It's gonna be a tough job, put someone has to do it. :teeth:

Then season 4 goes to the top of my netflix queue!!! -

Nope... he gets the inside, I get the outside. Spray cleaner and a paper towel once a week, and it looks beautiful.

While he was out, he bought a dishwasher, too... we've hated the one in our house since we moved in. (It's the same model that we've had in our previous 2 houses as well... and those were promptly replaced also... why does every contractor in the world install the same crappy dishwasher that puts more food ON the plates than it takes off.)

If you figure that you are watching it commercial free, it should come down to 16.8 hours... add in a pee-break once every 4 hours, and you'll be by 9AM tomorrow.

This could work to your benefit. If you get it all squared away and then (of course) let the people that need to know that you did. You will be in good stead.....

Congrats to him!! So many of our folks serving in that era were brow beat and called names upon the return, I'm sure they don't want to talk about it!! :confused3 I glad things have changed somewhat......

Get up, put in a DVD, continue watching until all DVD's are exhausted....go to bed. :) There, you get it back to the library 6 days early!
