Stacey....very kind of you to be shippin' Bear his Christmas present early! Glad to hear that Jordan isn't crushed she didn't make the cut. Isn't it amazing that the things you'd think would devestate them don't affect them at all, and the things you think aren't that important tend to throw them into a tizzy?

Kids don't have rehearsal today. We got a very complicated schedule that breaks things down by character and what time they need to rehearse (at least for now...later EVERYONE has to be there EVERY day!) Lucky me....rehearsal next Tuesday is from 6-8:30. Nick, and Nick only, has to be there from 8-8:30. 1/2 hour drive each way for 30 minutes of rehearsal!! At least I'm getting a lot of cross stitching done. I'm making a Christmas present and I'm hoping to be able to say "I ONLY worked on it during rehearsals!"

Monica - thanks for the update to the list. If I had been paying more attention I would have realized that was John.

I'll try and update the list and put it on my computer here so I can update it easier and post it from time to time.​

Wine should not be a problem. I live next door to a winery...Mike and Joan's house.

However, I do need some margarita supplies

Good thought - we need ice - no "ice maker in the freezer".

Catching up on laundry in case we lose power (the dread of all who were without it for 2 weeks lat year!).

Started to freeze water bottles to keep the full size freezer cooler longer...serves added benefit of cool water when defrosted.

Need to check on the pet food supplies. We are pretty well stocked up for H- season anyway, but "just in case".

OK - bye until I check in at work.

Why is my newspaper saying that Wilma is the strongest storm ever to form in the Atlantic? Did they already forget Katrina? Or is it because Katrina got stronger in the Gulf? That's just semantics. It's a nasty storm. I guess you Floridians on the east coast should be fine, but what about the West Coasters? Fran, are evacuating?

I'm still trying to talk Vicki and Vanessa into coming along on this one. The one they have planned was for Vanessa's spring break, and I think some of her friends from school were supposed to be going. If her friends don't make their reservations, then V & V might come with us!

I also read that one of the ones that was supposedly one of the strongest (like 2nd strongest) was a MALE hurricane from many years back, but the instruments weren't working properly, so it wasn't really "official" as to his strength. It's all just too complicated for me. I'd prefer to say that they are all HORRIBLE. Good wishes and prayers for all of you who are in Wilma's path!
