This is the first Apprentice where I really don't have a "favorite" - they're both immensely qualified. I watched Donald on Regis the other day and tried to see if I could detect a preference in his voice - no luck!! :confused3

Sorry to interrupt but I know we have a lot of tween girls this sailing...I was at Kmart the ither evening and I saw "Dream Life" which supposedly a pretty hard toy to find this year. They had 2 in stock, so I bought them in case anyone that I knew was looking for this game. If you are looking for this game, let me know and I will help you out. Nothing in it for me, I just wanted to help and maybe pay it forward :-) For some help that I received :-)

I don't have a real strong feeling for either this season. I liked Randall for most of the season but think that Rebecca has done a much better job with last task. But who knows how they are really doing on the task. It seems like they do a lot of editing to keep you sucked in until the final show.

So did you find the dance game thingy that you were looking for?

I miss having Broadway Series tickets. When I lived in New Orleans area, my girlfriends & I had season tix (actually they still have them in my name!) to the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. We had the "cloud club" tickets on a Thurs. night. We paid around $100 for a season of tickets. They were "nose-bleed" seats but a Thurs. night was never crowded, except for Phantom, so we always got to move down to the lower balcony. It was always a great night. We'd go have dinner at a nice restaurant, have some drinks then see a great show.

Laura,

What county are you in? Or, are your kids older than school-age now? Emily's last day of school is a week from today.

Have a blast at WDW!!!

Yes, Sue, we were talking about the overworked UPS man, since so many of us are buying lots of presents on-line. My point - I'm keeping UPS, FedEx AND the postman busy.

We have a Broadway subscription series here, I think about subscribing every year, but something always stops me. Oh yeah, the price! They should be the Broadway casts at those prices. Alicia wants to see the Trockaderos badly, I'm thinking about it. The tickets are on "sale", it would be $90 for the two of us instead of the usual $125 or so.

I'm excited - I've never seen Cats live- just the PBS subscription special- the original "Old Deuteronomy" is reprising his role as well as the final Broadway "Grizabella"

I enjoyed it. It was one of the best naps I ever had during a play. Nothing like waking up to a cat rubbing your leg and purring. :rotfl2:

We have had the Broadway subscription in Orlando for a couple of years. The problem was it being held during the week. The play did not start till 8:30 or so and did not get out until 11. That made getting home at 12:30 am. 5:30 came pretty early.

We enjoyed it, but it just was not worth the effort. I would fall asleep about half way through. Sharon would start thinking about leaving early. Then morning came.

If they had them on the weekend in Orlando we would do it again, but not during the week.

Gwinnett County. Only one left in public schools (Tori who's 12). We get out for Winter Break tomorrow and go back on January 4th.

I also have a UGA 3rd year student (Rachel) and a son (Eric) who graduated Georgia Tech several years back and lives over near Alpharetta!!

Wow! It's been sort of slow today, this afternoon anyway.

Who else will be watching The Apprentice tonight? I hope I can stay awake until 11:00 PM. I'm usually out by 10:00.

Ang

It was a cold day here today, I stayed home and worked which was great for a change.
I'm busy watching Apprentice now and hope I stay up too.

Maybe once the new Taj Mahal, I mean N-J Center, is done, they'll get some good stuff in there... our neighbor is the director - I'll have to ask him what their Broadway plans are...

Amanda,

How much is the "Dream Life" game? I think my DD, Katie would really get a kick out of it. She's a 3rd grader. Is that considered a "tween"? :confused3
