Most kids also enjoy saying "hi" to their former teachers. I think that's a good sign, the kids cared enough about her to come back...

I would take it as a GOOD sign that she wanted to visit with old student. She cared about that child and the child cares for HER! As a teacher, it is very hard to "read" people that first day. Some parents want to explore the room and let the child "get familiar" with the room. Some parents come in and want to have a quick hi/bye. (Some want to tell you EVERY intimate detail of thier child's life!) Volunteer often..........watch from "behind the scenes". You'll soon get a good feel for how she really is.

John picked up Scoopie's pictures from Fed Ex - so, now I have to ask him where he put them...I have a feeling they're still in his car... I'll have to shovel out his car to find them...although they should be fairly close to to the top since he got them yesterday

Just got back from school open house - Maggie's teacher just had a baby on Wednesday so, she'll have a sub for 8 weeks. After Mike and Maggie met their new teachers, they wanted to say "hi" to their former teachers. I thought of our teacher conversation this a.m. so, I tried not to get too involved in talking to the other teachers if the new parents were around. Maggie felt so grown up when a parent asked her a question about her experiences in 2nd grade last year...

I'm doing my part in the "clean up process."

Kids went into the pool, then the hot tub. Next is the shower.

Amazing what several days camping will do to you. They are not only filthy, but they are dog tired. As soon as showers are over it's straight to bed!!

DSL line crashed. DH out of town. - Wires so tangled who can tell what is where.

3 hours to re-establish dial-up.

Our Reservations start on Sunday - if anyone knows if it is midnight or 7:00 am - please PM me. thanks.

Will try to look for info posts on snorkeling, but due to computer CRASH - I may not "post ya" back until Monday....Thanks all.

Humbling experience, we should all be so fortunate in life, this is all we have to bear....(still disappointed...sorry - call me shallow!)
