but, I think from Wilderness Lodge, you have to transfer at the transpo center for some of the parks...

Wilderness Lodge has a boat to the MK. MGM, Epcot and AK are all via bus with no stop through TTC. Depends on the park and the day, sometimes they stop at GF or Poly on their way....I can never figure out their system.

I guess if you wanted to, you could take the TTC bus to TTC and catch the monorail to Epcot or MK, but you wouldn't HAVE to do it that way.

I tried to start HP twice yesterday and kept getting interrupted. This morning we're getting DS ready for church camp.

Cool! Weird for me to be saying this, but wish I was there! Sounds like fun!

Well I'm lucky, my family knows that when I'm into a good book, the "Do not disturb" sign is out. Well, at least for HP books.

Not to gloat, but one more week and a sleep and we're out of here again. Will probably check in while we're there. Bad thought, we won't have APs next summer, what will we do for our annual August before school trip?

Checkin' in for today. Good news is that we didn't lose our hard-drive; bad news is that we'll probably need a new motherboard & processor. Bruce was able to take the drive out of the new(er) computer & put in the old computer to verify that we didn't lose any important data (email contact, PICTURES, Quicken data, etc.) He thought of taking the computer in to CompUSA or Best Buy to see if they could troubleshoot but did some research first. We can no longer buy the same processor for our motherboard so he's thinking we're just out of luck & will have to buy both. So for now, we're still in business on the old computer.

That's good news that you didn't lose any data. You could always get the new computer and install the old hard drive in it. That way you have more space, and you could even use the hard drive for backup.

Thanks for the info on Ron Jon. Would love to stay there the day before the cruise. My daughter's last day of school is on that Wednesday, but son in High School's last day is Thursday. This year he didn't have to take any finals because he had all A's, but I hate to plan on that next year in case he doesn't make the A's. he is a great student, but even some of the smartest kids in the school have gotten B's in the AP World History class he is having to take next year.

Right now I am looking at trying to get a late afternoon flight out on that Thursday, probably staying by the airport that night, then getting up the next morning and driving down to Cape Canaveral.

Wow... quiet weekend in Double Scoop Land! Guess HP's got everyone in a mindwarp. Not me, though... spent yesterday at Christopher's weekly mudfest (flag football game), then staying out of the house for 2 showings. Floated around the pool all afternoon, and spent most of today at the beach. It was a GREAT beach day!!

I'm off to West Palm for the next 3 days (Irene- they've got us booked up day and night... don't think we'll get a mini-meet in, but I've got your # anyway.) Back on Wednesday night, then one day of work before heading to Marsh Harbour for the weekend (hurricane patterns permitting). I'm sure I'll be DIS-ing from the hotel through Wednesday, but not from the boat Fri-Mon.
Gotta pack up the laptop soon... hope everyone had a great weekend.

I hope today is better than the weekend. We went from bad (computer problems) to worse (trip to the ER). I was in the kitchen cooking dinner & Bruce was in office messing with the computer. The girls were running around the house (very open floor plan so they were making a loop). Emily must have slipped & I guess bit through the outer corner of her lip. She just said "Ow-eee" and didn't seem to be in any very immediate pain. I immediately, in an aggravated voice, said "Emily, what did you do?!" Then she moved her hand & I saw all of the blood. Bruce took a close look & said that we needed to have it stitched. I took her down to the satellite office of Chidren's Healthcare of ATL that's 10-15 min. from the house. The dr. took one look at her & said that we needed to go to the hospital to have what he called a "plastic" stitch it since it was her lip & didn't want her to be scarred. So it was off to Children's hospital ER. They must have given her some serious stuff - she was out of it when the dr. stitched her. She was dead weight when we left & could barely keep her head straight. I can usually carry her with no problems but last night was a different story. We finally got home around 9:15. It was hard getting her down. She was out of it one minute then babbling away the next. I went work out this morning so didn't see her. Bruce said that she was ok but tired. I'll have to call day care later to check on her. I sort of feel like a bad parent for sending her to day care but there's nothing really we can do at home.

Hi Angie - VMK is Virtual Magic Kingdom. An online Disney game that just went live a month or so ago. There is a separate forum about it here on the DIS. Last night was a room competition and I offered to help someone do a show in thier room. A lot of fun, but a lot of stress too as I'm not very good at some of the computer stuff.

Sorry to hear about the ER visit. Hope Emily is feeling better this morning.
