She's a neighborhood kid, and I know her mom pretty well... so I know that her 'comments' were in jest... but still... I am horrified!!!

Opps! Some things are just not joke fodder, especially to a mother leaving the house......

It's not swampy in here... the weather station on the kitchen counter says that its 76 degrees and 43% humidity inside (pretty dry for us), and outside, it's 80 degrees, and 78% humidity... OK... I guess it IS swampy outside...

I don't keep it any colder than 76 inside... I hate A/C, but its a necessity, not a convenience here.

During our last trip down there a few weeks ago, I found myself actually turning the cooler temp up a bit. The difference feels good when you come in from the hot, but not after your are in for awhile.

Am I wrong??? Christopher can't STAND her, and says she spends every minute that she's here talking on her cell phone. I also found out today that she usually spends time on our computer, too... HELLO... NO... I don't THINK so!!! We've seen the last of her in this house!!

No, I don't think you are either. We have always felt if the kids/kid likes the babysitter, then they are OK! We always liked the ones that played with Alicia instead of just turning on the TV and reading a book or something.

Hey Guys, I think I am ready to start doing the email pen pal thing with my kids.....Is anyone ready to start letting the kids chat but with out mentioning this particular cruise? My kids still do not know that we are going....on a side note, I paid off my Wonder cruise for this Sept today!woohoo I just used the online ressie taker thingy for the first time...definite positive! I wanted to book the Rasul and the balancing capsule and I did not see them listed, does any one know? Are we unable to pre book those things?

Amanda - My DS, AJ is 9 going to be 10 in January and would like to e-mail with someone. He's been e-mailing with Caleb, Sandi's son, for a little while now. I will tell AJ - NO cruise stuff. But how do we get them started? I will PM you my e-mail address.

Sandi - Glad to hear your MIL is doing OK and I'll pray for a speedy recovery. For her and your FIL. My MIL died almost 9 years ago and it was the same with her and my FIL. But, he learned to manage. She filled him in the last year of her life. I think she knew that it wouldn't be long. How sad. But, he does everything now. Lives by himself in a big house, cooks for himself and everything. He's so cute, my MIL is in a mosuleum (cemetery drawer in a building) and he goes every Sunday. It could be 100 degrees out, and he will STILL only go to "see" her with pants on. No shorts. The old generation.

I guess that's the way it used to be. Thank God things changed. My husband is better at some things than I am. And he could survive if I was no longer here. Just wait until after the cruise.

OK people, I'm heading to bed now. It's 10:19pm NY time and I need my beauty sleep. Have a good night.

OT here, but I was scrolling and caught a glane of my siggie and saw the pic of me, Steve, Mickey and Minnie...it reminded me of something I have been meaning to ask you all....AM I the only goofball who wonders what Mickey/Minnie or a particular character is really thinking about me when we take our picture??? I am pretty certain it is not all happiness and excitement like I feel when I see him/her.......anyone else wonder such things?

On the other hand, the staff person by the moon rock insisted Scoopie get his own sticker since the "little dude" touched it...She was so excited for the "little dude.."

Maria, I would love to get the boys together! I just told Taylor that Elizabeth was going to be her new pen pal. I think she is so used to mom getting her penpals that she doesn't even bat an eye anymore! LOL I think CJ will be the same way. I will get you my email as well!
