Some of us 10 dayers purchased, through Shirley, a Spode Christmas tree complete with lights and ornaments. It added a nice Christmasy touch to the stateroom.

Weelllll......SOME people were FLYING home and had NO way to get their beloved tree home. SOME people were DRIVING home and had extra room to haul other people's trees home!

We were glad we could do it.....now, if we could just plan a time to meet. My basement is a WRECK and I'm thinking if I could *just* get this tree out of there it'd look SOOOOOOOO much better (it's 2 feet tall!)

Ugh....meeting for camp tonight. Maybe they'll tell me they found someone else to be a cabin counsellor and I can stay home and enjoy the peace and quiet for the week while everyone else is at camp.

I'm home and yes it did rain on the way home. It was brutal in Orlando.

Oh yeah...Virgil...spoke with my sister...her August looks like my July....a couple of free days here and there. We *may* go down to her place starting the weekend of August 13th if she decides not to jet off to LA the following week. We also *may* start down on the 20th or 21st....

What's it look like for you on either the 13th, 14th or 20th or 21st?

Of course, these are very tenative right now...

Profound. And coming from a household that has gone to the ER for things up noses, it's so true!

Oh no... I wasn't so lucky... my aunt, in her infinite medical wisdom, converted her kitchen table into an ER, and was determined to get it out... I'm surprised its not still there. (Maybe that's why in 'Frosty the Snowman', the line about the 'button nose' cracks me up every time... and his friend's name in the cartoon is Karen...)

Not to ignore your parameters Mary, but I would like to weigh in here. I didn't get into posting (or reading for that matter) on the 10-day thread since I didn't see the need.

I'd like to echo that - (not on the 10 day - but on our 1st cruise March '04) - I posted on the thread to say "hi" got Maggie corresponding with girls close to her age - and then I spent most of my time learning the ins and outs of DCL on the main board.
