Hehaw!!

Man, you guys sure have been busy. Hadn't had a chance to get back on here since we got home on Wednesday, and here you guys are over 8,000. Well, I have to leave again tomorrow to drive to Tucson (300 miles) to take Ashley to swim camp at UofA. I haven't recovered from our WDW trip, oh well. Gosh, by the time I get back on Monday night, I bet you guys will be over 8500.

Have fun everyone.

We sail in 49 weeks!

Woo Hoo - Another week closer to cruising!

Since Mary is on the way to the airport right now I thought I would quote her post so we would have our Saturday morning reminder!. Here's hoping for :sunny:

Have a safe trip Pam. I'm sure there will be plenty to read when you get back.

Have a safe trip. So, what do the offer at the Swim Camp?

Is there spell check for the boards? I need to be shown where it is if there is, because I sure could use it.

PS Have fun with Mark and Mary tomorrow!
I "try" to use Iespell it's a add utility for explorer (doesn't work with Foxfire). It puts a little icon on the tool bar and, if you remember to click on it before you post then it does work..... :wizard:

I'll try it. I wonder if it knows the difference between sitting and stirring? ;)

Unfortunately, it will not help with grammar, only spelling. I got in trouble like that with my collage/college comments......

So Jim, I'm sitting here trying to research the Spiegel Grove and have found several sites. Which ones do you like?

It turns out that most of the people signed up for the Key Largo trip are novice divers and won't be able to make the run to the Spiegel. That, in its self is fine. I just have to find a way to make it happen with the divers we do have.

I would recommend driving up to Key Largo and taking a boat from there. It is much closer than making the run from Travener. Ocean Divers is good. Quiscience (I'm not sure of the spelling) is good. There is one boat that can be charted with a six pack and they will do a double dip on the SG. That is the boat I think you want. Matt and I are still working on the schedule. It looks like we should be able to dive on Saturday and Sunday.

I will need to get that from Red. He has used them in the past.

Again, it's not all flufff. It might not be about DCL, but it's not fluff. :rotfl2:

Kevin, I just shot Red an email and should have something within the next day or so. I have also invited him to ride down with Matt and I. I could use a helper with the driving. Hope you don't mind. To bad if you do!

Finally some good news here!

Just received Lauren's schedule for this year. Her finals aren't until Monday June 5 through the 7th.

For those of you joining us late - the issue was that we were going to take Lauren out of school - no matter what. This makes it a moot point - while she will miss 4 days of school - she won't have to miss finals - and thus her grade shouldn't be adversely affected......

Hope that everyone is having a good weekend.....

Hope that Mark and Mary have a great time in FL!!!!

I'm glad you did not post this before we sent Matt down there for 6 weeks.

I will admit, it is almost third world....but great diving, rafting....

I wasn't going to cause any more worry in the Scuba house about Matt being gone... I'm sure he's fine... coincidentally, I just got a new magazine today with an article about what looks like an incredible place there... Bosque del Cabo... 450 acres of rainforest, with beachside 'cabinas'... looks beautiful!!

She misses him A LOT!!! We all do.
That's good... mine have had TOO much time together lately... I've heard "I wish you were never born" more than once today...

Thank you for not pointing it out)
I only point it out to people that work for me, or students whose work I'm correcting... other than that, you're on your own... I just HAD to thank Kevin for his correction:) . It was kind of like finding a hidden :earsboy: ... you can't help but notice it once you know its there...

Would we consider the "corn cob award"??
the awards committee respectfully declines your suggestion.... :scared:

Sorry- didn't mean to start trouble... no need to spell check!

Unfortunately, it looks like Mary and Mark are already getting rained on... afternoon showers started early today, and it looks like 'round 2' must be over them now. (Hmm... did Jim and Sharon take the Jeep???)

I actually spent an hour in the kitchen today... after all, tomorrow IS Father's Day... made rosemary potato salad, and raspberry lemon pie (gotta love anything you can make out of jello pudding, coolwhip and cream cheese....) I won't give Ray a day off from cooking tomorrow... he wouldn't want me to cook the ribs... as far as I'm concerned, there is only one temperature for a grill, a burner, or any other cooking device.... HIGH!

Time to go check on tonight's Beer Chicken... the chef fell asleep on the couch...

Looks like neither DH nor I will have cooking duty tomorrow. Not like he cooks though ... only grills. He offered to grill tonight. So it's grilled chicken & asparagus for us. I'll have him cook enough to last tomorrow too.

We've got some tired girls today. We had a 3 year old b-day party to go to right in the middle of nap time. :crazy2: Hopefully they'll go to bed early tonight so DH & I can have some "quiet" time. ;) (Maybe that was TMI).

We just got back and they are having great weather. We ate lunch on the Board Walk and then sat by the pool while the kids swam. No rain, it looked like it, but since I did not drive the Jeep we were safe.

We call that an early Father's Day gift! :rotfl2: (Maybe that was TMI).
