Caleb was born 2 weeks before my 40th birthday.

We were determined to be 'done' by the time we were 30... Christopher was due ON Ray's 30th birthday... he showed up a week late... which totally fits his laid-back, easy going, no schedule attitude.

How on earth did two 100% "Type A" parents end up with 'Jimmy Buffett's mini-me' for a 2nd and final child? . Proof that God has a sense of humor!!

God must have really thought he was funny when he gave us our three! You're so polite with the "Jimmy Buffett mini-me" and "laid-back"......the only word to describe mine is LAZY. I don't know how they got that way...we try, we do.
The school counselor wanted to test Jared for ADD and a bunch of other stuff (they have to put a label on it, always) I told her he already had a "label" L.A.Z.Y. She didn't think I was funny.

I don't know how....but it appears as though the fires may have finally been put out. I hope I don't jinx myself with that. They were headed back over the ridge and straight toward us late yesterday and last night. Today, I can't even see any smoke, let alone flames! Thanks for the prayers!

Has anyone tried the new game - VMK or Virtual Magic Kingdom?

I had a friend introduce me to it while at WDW. You can sign up in the parks or from home. There is even a new board on the DIS for it. Anyone else tried it?

I played around with it for about 5 minutes, then got bored and frustrated trying to figure it out... couldn't get it to do much of anything...

He just doesn't have a care in the world...

I just dropped a case of Pepsi on the tile, and of course one had to explode. The kids thought I made a great "save", though....I grabbed the carton, scooped up the squirting can and took it to the sink. Minimal damage. Didn't know the old bod could move that fast!

Depends how many of us are sitting home doing nothing this weekend.

Obviously, with the race in town, Ray is working all weekend... so its just the kids and I... this is NOT the weekend to try to go to the beach, or anywhere for that matter, thanks to the traffic... so here I am.... but no, I won't post all by myself...

Just dropped Elizabeth off at a friend's for the night... why can't I ever have BOTH of them out of the house at once????

Yep... mine and yours will get along great... same age, same mentalities!!!!! The drama queen could NEVER be trusted with high-pressure negotiations!!!

Had an interesting discussion with Christopher in the car tonight... he wanted to know how people get 'picked' to go to war... I tried to explain to him about voluntary service vs. 'the draft' (which hasn't been used in a long time, I know, but he asked how Grampa got in the war)... his response when I told him about having to register when he's 18 was... "I'm gonna hide." Yeah... that's my little tough guy .

Mary, just how addictive is that game? I want to know first, don't need another time consuming addiction. This thread is enough.
