Besides... isn't it great to be able to sleep in your OWN bed the night before a cruise... and not do the airport-rental car-hotel-transfer-lug the bags (and wine)-terminal dance!!!!!

Yes, that is true and it certainly is less hectic on the return trip home not to have to worry about missing flights or long trips home. Besides, even though the kids will be out of school a few days before the cruise, I will still be working.

My life has a nasty habit of crapping on me when I try to be honest about things and do the right thing...one example, when Steve and I were first married I got a great job thru a temp agency...they wanted to hire me on full time with benefits...only problem was I had a trip to CO planned for like a month later to visit my parents. I was very honest with the girl that was going to hire me, and let her know that I had plane tickets already purchased...was there anything we could work out.....she worked it out alright, by hiring someone else!

Besides, even though the kids will be out of school a few days before the cruise, I will still be working.

It's probably wishful thinking that I'll take those 2 days off... though its a great idea in theory... Memorial Day isn't even a holiday for us... its one of our busiest weeks of the year... might have to rethink taking any additional days.

Yes we are flying. I only have 1 week off work and it would take way to long for us to get there. Oh yeah - and I HATE to drive!!! (Good thing Matt will be getting his learners permit as soon as he comes home from Michigan)

Hey folks, I am here in Houston.

Yesterday I went with Michael and Maggie to the Dentist! I was scared so hid behind the exercise equipment. Although Michael and Maggie did not think it was too bad --no cavities!!!!!!!!!! I even got a tooth brush and floss. The toothbrush looks like a whale!,

Today we went to the beach and played in the sand and water. (I did not want to get wet though -- I might melt!) Maggie and Michael played chess with chess pieces a lot bigger than me. I watched Michael and Maggie playing in the waves with their boogie-boards.

Time for Bed!!!

Woo Hoo - Another week closer to cruising!


Another early morning flight so I'm posting the countdown tonight. Soon as we get home we'll be heading up to Milwaukee for the Busch Race. Should be logging in again on Sunday.
