Late start today- had to drop DD off at church so that she can spend the day (and night, and all my $$) at Wet-n-Wild. I had to laugh... the Father's Day sign out in front of our church just says, "Who's Your Daddy?" (I thought it was funny...)
OK... time for my morning powerpost before I get to working...

Karen, I do ... ate there last week and was terribly disapointed in the domes.
Glad its not just me... now the coconut tiramisu... THAT's a different story- I could have gotten my money's worth just eating that!!!

Yeewww..... Ebay snob, Ebay snob
Yeah, I guess... I hate yard sales, flea markets (ESPECIALLY flea markets), carnivals, and county fairs too... ick! (Guess it's my Connecticut Yankee blood

...)

We are all so lucky that we have wonderful spouses that support our WDW addictions.
When we were just dating, Ray joined us on our first visit to WDW (I was 20... my parents were great- they took my brother & sister and I on cruises when we were kids, but never to WDW... guess I really can't complain). He was our 'tour guide', as we hadn't been there before... so I guess I can blame him for my addiction

... that was 17 years ago.
QUOTE=ohiominnie]No, yard sales are different. [/QUOTE] Other people's junk is other people's junk... with E-bay, you just don't have to SEE the freaks that it came from

Got the new Janet Evanovich book "Eleven on Top".
Is that the sequel to Dr. Seuss' '10 Apples Up on Top'? (That's all I could think of when I saw the title of your book...)

Maybe we should consider taking a vacation without the kids
Do it!!!!! We have gone away without them once a year for the past 10... even if its just for a few days, it helps to regain some of your sanity... well, in your case, I don't know... this thread probably negates whatever gain comes from it... but seriously... it's good for you!

We encouraged DS to spend as much time in the lab as possible
OK- time for another
DCL rookie question... see, we CAN get this thread on topic once in a while... at what age to the kids just stop wanting to even go there... I have a feeling that Elizabeth might just say 'no way'... 12 is going to be such a tough age for her... 11 is already so much 'fun'... Christopher- I'm not concerned about him- he's so easy going, he'll just go with the flow and find something entertaining about wherever he is and whatever he's doing at the minute.
Back to the regularly scheduled fluff...

Karen - PINS - do you want us to "steal", I mean liberate, I mean buy you some cruise PINS for the stockings.....I'd be glad to....
I'm afraid to get them hooked on the whole pin thing... but maybe 1 more wouldn't kill them. I'll let you know!

WHAT THE HECK IS ZEBRA DOME ---
An overrated dessert at Boma in AKL. Awesome place to eat, but, IMHO, don't waste the calories on a Zebra Dome... go for the coconut tiramisu.

I believe Scoopie is checking our Alaskan cruising for us
Well, at least he won't melt! Good thing he's not in FL right now!!
Hmm... somewhere I saw the idea of putting the Latin Blabbermouth phrase on the shirts... do we REALLY want to do that???!!!

I don't think we need further proof!
