I move that we table this Palo discussion (pun DEFINITELY intended) until we are 110 days from sailing... it doesn't do much good to get all freaked about it now... things could change 10 times between now and then...

150. That seems pitiful compared to everyone else. But it's an acomplishment for me:cheer2: .

Sandi - congrats on 150! A great milestone!

OK..weather report for NY...HHH. Temps today in the upper 80's-90's and our pool is NOT opened yet. My poor DH is soooo busy with the house, God only knows when he'll be able to open the pool. Know anybody that would be interested? :rotfl:

1 more post, right?

Interested in opening your pool or interested in your husband?? :rotfl2:

You are at least pouring chlorine through the cover, right? WIth all of this sunshine, I'd hate to think of how green it is if you aren't. We have to start pouring chlorine through ours every week starting in late March/Early April....depending on the sunshine levels.

but it seemed like we ate for hours in Palo :faint: (not that I'm complaining).

Yeah, I noticed that too. Guess I"m not used to sitting back and digesting between courses. I also was ancy to get out of there to see the kids sing Christmas carols in the atrium (with their clubs) but missed that. :(

See - there is proof that there is :sunny: in Ohio! It just isn't there in late December/early January.

You missed that? AWWWW - it was so cute. I'm sure Jim got pictures as KT and Lisa were together. We were up on deck 5 watching. I remember the excitement of the night wasn't the kids singing however. It was Matt being able to get the Palo filet from Cary (Land and Sea Guy).

Yeah - a top shared with Karen, Jim, KT, Lisa, Jim, Matt and Cary :)

Actually, just yesterday I was thinking about how sunny it has been these last couple of weeks. I'll take it. Although I called a friend today to see about picking up her daughter to go with us to the Mud Room (painting ceramics) and she told me she got burnt yesterday in our pool.

I sunscreened her with SPF 50!!! Yeowzer. My kids are a titch red, but they have a good base from WDW.

Yup. Sent the kids to dinner with the Scubas that night and then they did their caroling right after. I'm sure Nick was still in his little suit, and KT may still have been dressed up too.....I don't know, I wasn't there!

It was very, very cute! Sorry you missed it. Did you meet Debs Hill (she was at our table)? I'll have to drop her a line and see if she has any wider shots from that night. I think Lisa and KT were pretty close to where her son Jake was and they were down on 3 taking pictures. The next night they had the crew caroling and that was very nice as well.

Well, not one more post really - or you would have said something profound - right? :rotfl:

Anyway - Congrats!

OK - I have now dealt with power surges, lost power and lots of :umbrella: I'd go home but cannot find the car - it is lost in the river of water in the driveway.

I am ready to begin some serious planning to help Mary.
1. I will reserve the week of June 18th to wash my car.
2. We will plan a picnic, pool party, eary fireworks display and all around outside only event for the weekend of the 24th - inlcuding sleeping under the stars.
3. I will turn off the dryer and use the clothesline and not wash until then.
4. I will buy five new umbrellas and keep on with me at all times, around my neck with a little key....
5. I will give a dog a home, just so I can plan to give him a bath that weekend.
6. I will start building an ark and arrange with my neighbors for 2 of everything, 'cept the dog, I got him under #5.

Now about WDW - I have contacted guest relations to see if they will offer free tickets to Universal/Sea World. Sadly, they declined.
Next I contacted the Sunpass and Toll Booths to request the pass out "free ice cream" coupons for the week. They too, declined.
Finally, I decided that if it poured with rain, the crowds would stay in the hotels leaving the parks free to those of us that don't have to pack the day with 100% activities....But that eliminates my promises of 1-5 above...hum...

So, I set my mind to the temperature request and decided that if you turn down the air-conditioner you can be cooler and avoid the rains, but that leaves out WDW parks...

Mary - I can get any two of the three....sorry and all that..Perhaps if you called Willard Scott? :earboy2:

Irene - thanks! :rotfl2: Is Willard Scott still around?

As long as Jim Cantore isn't - either in June or September. You know what they say - when Jim Cantore is in your town you know you are in trouble!

Mary - you got me here - I had to google Jim's name and found him on the Weather Channel....Well, I guess this is a dead give-away that we do not have cable :rotfl:

And yeah, I am writing this with a slate tablet as well. :teeth:

Hey All!! :goodvibes

A quick check in from WDW and the Broadwalk. Been playing tour guides for Diana's brother's family. They seem to be having fun, but we only got the 16yo son on Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster. The others were to whimpy :confused3 They did all like Soarin' though....

The gangs has gone to MK this morning and I elected to get some work done (that I didn't get to before I left). I will break down and join them there in a couple of hours anyway. We all know how I "crave" Magical Kingdom........

Weather has been great the last few days. Warm and humid with lots of sunshine for the masses. We leave early Friday morning and will be back on with the rest of you then.

Yes, they were all dressed up and looked great!! They did not eat with us that night either. The three of them ate at your table by themselves that night - no parents to bother them. Jim and I actually moved down to have dinner with Mark, Mary, etc since so many people were not at dinner in our area on Christmas Eve.

That's right! That was the night Angie was having Kidney stone problems. Ken & Shari were at Palo, their daughter Staci ate with her friends. So you, Jim and Matt joined Deb, her DH Ed, their son Jake and Mark and I.
