Do any of you have recommendations for don't miss restaurants at WDW. I purchased the DDE card and would like to eat at some different places while we are there. Let's hear what you guys think are the best sit down places.

Tinks and Scubas use the DDE card at Victoria and Alberts Saturday night. I would put that up there with the don't miss restaurants and also the bring lots of cash restaurants.

It is a once in a life time experience. It reminded us of a combination of Palos and the Rainforest Room. Excellant food and a great atmosphere. Well worth every penny (but than I have not paid Kevin back yet)

Diana has been using the DDE card and it has paid for it self many times over.

I'm sure that Ray would be glad to share one with you... I'm sure he could use some help repainting the pool deck in this heat . Hmm... maybe I AM better off at work today!!

I was up at 3 am and just sitting there waiting for them to wake up. We had two cars so I left. They can sleep in as long as they like. She will be much happier when she comes home.

Stirring the pot is just a bonus.

It worked great. I was home by 5 am and had no traffic on I-4.

We stayed at Pop Century. Sharon and Lisa have been there since Friday. It is a very basic hotel, not even a hair dryer. Diana had a problem with that.

Pop Century is along the same line as All Sports and All Music, but I think a little bit more basic. It works for us on those trips where we are just checking in for a quick night sleep and off again.

Yes, Lisa is with Sharon. I did not ship her off to a third world country. I tried to send her to gym camp for 4 weeks in TX, but that did not work out.

the phone has now rung a grand total of 4 times, and 2 trucks have come through the gate... oh wait- and one person came to the door for an interview. (YAWN!!!!!) I guess it will be worth it on Thurs. when everyone's here, and I'm in WDW...

kikipug - what time do you have to work til? Sorry you have to work, but at least there's no one there bothering you or anything. Sometimes that gets pretty boring though. I don't know what's worse, having a hectic day or one like you're having with nothing to do. Good luck.

Oh, I'll be here all day... til 5... the guys just left for lunch... they're bringing some back for me... so now there is literally NO ONE here!!!

I've got my music cranked up loud, and I'm doing some last minute online 'research' for this week's trip.

It's funny- this is our first trip to WDW since we moved here 2 years ago (with the exception of 1 day at Epcot earlier this month.) I am trying to figure out how to de-program my 'commando' ways of trying to fit it all into the 4 days that we'll be there... I KNOW we can go back all we want in the next 11 months (except crazy blackout times- too busy anyway), but I know I'll still be trying to do it all!!!

Just so you have company, I'm cleaning out and organizing computer file folders...Some of it's fun - I still have previous years' Christmas newsletters and sound files of the kids when they were too little to type e-mails to the grandparents so, we'd record their voices...
