Howdy ho!

Been able to lurk here, but hardly have time to post. Busy with school and FUN (now that the Beast has found another home) Actually, she's moving to Michigan, so chances are we will NEVER see her again!

Mike's eyes are about status quo. Slight improvements in the left eye but now slightly higher pressures in the right eye.

Carry on....just wanted to say hi!

OM- Thanks for checking in. I noticed you have been pretty quiet since the NCAA tournament has started. Hope that is no reflection on your feelings for Michigan State.

Hey, am I missing an important holiday in Texas? Especially one w/Margaritas? I'll take any excuse besides Cinco de Mayo. Or is this like Illinois' Casmir Polaski Day? Where we have to reach waaayyy back into our history memory banks back to U.S. and State History to determine who these people are and what was their unique contribution to society?

Cesar Chavez
March 31, 1927-April 23, 1993
American labor leader. Cesar Chavez was born near Yuma, Arizona, and grew up in migrant labor camps. From 1952 until 1962 he worked for the Community Service Organization, a self-help group. Then he began working to create a farm workers union. The union was chartered in 1966 by the American Federation of Labor and Congress on Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) as the United Farm Workers Organizing Committee, with Chavez as its president. In 1968 Chavez gained attention as leader of a nationwide boycott of California table grapes in a drive to achieve labor contracts.

She hears the little boy continue, "For those of you just boarding, we ask you to stow all of your hand luggage under your seat. Remember, there is no smoking on the train. We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us today."

As the mother began to smile, the child added, "For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay, please see the ***** in the kitchen."<O></O>

Calgon, take me away... somehow, I forgot that I told my niece that she and her friend could come to FL for a visit after her college graduation... she has just e-mailed me to inform me that she has booked the same flight to FL as my return flight from her graduation, and they are staying for 9 days... and she's too young to rent a car!! (We'll lend her ours for a few days, but not for 9!!!)

She can't afford WDW, so that's out... I'll treat her to Sea World, I guess they'll hang out at the beach, and mostly in my pool. She is adopted, and her birth-mother lives about an hour from here, so she is spending 2 days with her, too.

Guess I'll be finding some creative cheap things to do for them while they are here!!!
