Hi folks and thanks to all of you have welcomed us to this cruise....can't wait to meet you all!!!

Bear sounds like a great traveling companion. We have someone who cannot wait to meet him who has been on all of our adventures!

Shirts - for Tee shirts, we will need an Adult XL and an Adult Small, sometimes a child's works better than an Adult small, but it depends what you all are buying. How do we pay for these as you guys are up to a few dozen shirts. I like the up-front payment recommendation. Of course, the size of the shirts depend if we are wearing them before or after we cruise.....the food offerings being what they are on board!

I watched the Extreme Makeover last night as welll - unbelievable what we have to be thankful for, when you see what these families have gone through. .....and we too used up all the Kleenex in the house last night....The show is so sensitive I must believe they have taken the tax issues into account, in response to an earlier post.

Anyway, things to do, places to go.....

I watched the Extreme Makeover last night as welll - unbelievable what we have to be thankful for, when you see what these families have gone through. .....and we too used up all the Kleenex in the house last night....The show is so sensitive I must believe they have taken the tax issues into account, in response to an earlier post.

When I watch this show, I keep wondering what the weekly budget is. The families go on cruises, go to WDW, and come home to a huge new house. Great advertising for Disney, but the construction costs! I wonder how many of the construction companies that get featured donate their services?

It would seem I have a bad rep around here in regards to Magic Kingdom. While I enjoy most of the rides and attractions, the sheer multitude of families with smaller children, pushing and shoving their strollers to and fro can make for a "less than desirable" experience.
And a trip to MK invariable involves me standing in a spot on the street to save a spot for an upcoming parade or another. Which in it's self isn't terrible, but then the pushing and shoving can make that a little tiring as well.

I've got nothing against little kids, it's their pushy parents that can drive me crazy if the mood isn't one of "total Zen". The other parks don't seem to bring that same atitude out in people like MK.


Love the fireworks though!!!

Thanks for the pics, Amanda! We always like to see cute kids. Couldn't see much of Taylor though.

I don't think Kevin adequately described his feelings about MK. When we're there, his face sometimes looks like he's visiting the dentist. But maybe he doesn't really feel that way. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

We are playing host to my brother's family starting June 4. I already told Kevin he doesn't have to go with us to the MK. I think that made his day!

He likes the other parks just fine though.

Oh yeah, Diana my dates have changed as has my resort! LOL My friend was not able to get the wed thru Thurs off, so we will not leave here until Friday the 27th of May. So our 1st official park day will be the 28th and we will be staying thru Sunday.

I have to agree with Kevin regarding MK. I have certain spots that I really enjoy, like the bakery on Mainstreet, or the storytime area just east of the castle when they are not telling stories. All of these are places without kids and families. I always pack a book and usually a little wine and find the quiet places to wait until I am needed to hold a space in line.

Jim, you take wine into the MK? The only park at WDW where there's no alcohol? You need to share your secrets with Kevin.
