Wow... almost 3 pages of posts to 'catch up' on!!! Almost like the good old days (well... not really).

I spent Monday & Tuesday in Tampa for a meeting... now I'm playing catch up at the office, and trying to get everything done that needs to be done while I'm in St. Louis for 4 days next week.

Ray has been working in Jacksonville for the PGA tourney 16 hours a day since Sunday... last time I saw him for more than 10 minutes was on Saturday... and he'll have the same schedule until after I leave for St. Louis... talk about "strangers in the night"!!!!! My kids probably think there's a "one parent at a time" rule...

We've had a sad day. Our kitty Elvis died today. He was supposed to go a couple of years ago (heart problems), but he hung in there. He was a sweetie, and one of a kind.

If you haven't already figured it out. You need to use the
on either side of the image url. You also need to lose the src= in front!!

Looks like we forgot all about milestones. :lmao:

Congrats to Kiki Karen on post 56,000

Congrats to Kevin on reply 56,000

I'd been watching that milestone get closer for the last couple of days. Figures I'd be at Jordan's dance recital and miss it.;) I half expected Virgilpirate: to come in and nab it!

CONGRATS KIKI AND KEVIN!!!

Diana, I am so sorry about Elvis, poor baby. I know how hard that is. I wish they could live forever.

I have now officially become my mother.

The dance show that we went to tonight was for Jordan's dance class at school, and the other dance classes there. Some of it was really nice, they had ballet, a tango, jazz, hip-hop.....but they had a few dances with soloists, and some small groups of girls who the teacher let choreograph their own dances. I thought I was in Las Vegas!! It was outright trash. Not that the dancing was bad, it was incredibly suggestive. I was embarrassed just to sit there and watch.....and of course, after it was over, I told the teacher that. She didn't seem too concerned. It's just too bad that other parents are too chicken to say anything.

Guess I'm right there with you. I sit and watch some of the gymnastics dances and hope Lisa never does some of the routines we see.

Lots of DISers in Orlando this weekend. We leave this morning for Lisa's meet and the Muddy Buddy.

We tried to work out a meet with OH, but we could not coordinate schedules.

Darn...I was hoping to get someone else to drive!! But a great photographer would be nice, too. Tell him that he can tell the IRS that photography is now his job, so you guys can come and write off the trip!

I'll volunteer. Whenever we travel, I get the job of driving on the left. Sam drives on the right....Guess who gets the better deal?

St. Thomas = 5 days = right = Sam

St. John = 1 day = left = Irene

Sorry! I have always used these brackets <>. Must be that the DIS is different. But I think I've used them on the DIS too, just not in a while.

Alicia was running really late to get to the Prom, so no pictures. Yeah, I wanted one too.

Stacey,

The place that you will be staying looks absolutely heavenly. I can't believe I'm getting ready to say this ... wish I was going on a beach vacation rather than sweating at WDW in mid-June!

Ang

I know exactly how you feel, Pam. I was just remarking to DH and DS that we were counting down days until our cruise this time last year. Now we don't have any vacation plans. We're thinking of visiting Texas/New Mexico next year as neither of us has been, but no family cruises for us on the horizon.:sad2:

You will need to drop in and visit then.

Thanks, guys. Alicia is very sad today, she's taking it hard. I offered to let her stay home, but she wanted to go to school.
