Are you getting us all tickets and a place to stay (for free of course)? If so we'll be there. :lmao:

Tickets... hmm... no idea yet...

Place to stay... well... lets see... Mom & Dad left today after being here for 2 months... that frees up a guest room... two more trundle beds, a sleep sofa... I can sleep 6... and I know somebody just a mile down the road that has a pool house... (hmm... who could THAT be????)

Good Evening All!

The countdown is on!!! John's planning on being the 1st on the Grand Princess tomorrow a.m. (I think he just wants to get away from whiny, tired, over-stimulated kids) - won't be the same without y'all waiting outside the gates, too - or a precruise breakfast...Our meet thread is pretty excited to be so active... they got up to 25 pages...

Quick break - I'm supposed to be getting the medical release and schedule together for John's parents. We had quite an eventful day - didn't make the cave but, instead toured the San Antonio North Central Baptist Emergency Room for two hours. :scared1: Our new resolution - don't leave home without Virgil!!! :lmao:

John cracked his head open in the hotel bathroom - not much blood but pretty deep. Convinced him to get it looked at since we were leaving the country tomorrow. He elected for staples over stitches - no haircut... ;) Since he had a conference call at 3:30 - we couldn't do the cave afterward - we needed to be home so he could take the call. Bonus for me - Starbucks Cafe in the hospital - we couldn't find one around the hotel so, I had to put up with lousy hotel coffee for two days... Good training for cruise coffee...:rotfl2:

HOLY COW!!!!! Poor John! Wow. Bummer. Glad you're still cruising though. You'll have a blast!

Only 2 hours???? WOW.... our wait time has skyrocketed - 4-5 hours on average.... Yea - I would've just tied his hairs together - quicker and easier than an ER visit......

I rarely use stitches in the scalp - (and I never cut the hair - that's old school - increases risk of infection).....

Have a great time on your cruise!!

:sail: Bon Voyage Monica - Have a great cruise and keep John safe! ;)

Did y'all hear about the guy who jumped from a Carnival ship (figures!), spent 8 hours in the water and was rescued. One lucky man.

Also packed - DCL id holders, John's Disney Ties for formal night, Disney crocs, and the blabbermouth beach bag... Wish y'all were joining us!!! :lmao:

So do we!!!!

Instead, I'm sitting here, writing a comprehensive list of everything I do at work... I'm on my 3rd page single spaced, and I'm not done yet. :scared1: (We're doing some re-organizing of responsibilities now that our VP/GM is retiring, and this was our management team 'weekend assignment')

Ray is in Atlanta for the race, and the kids are still in their pajamas... oh well... it's spring break.

I hear reservations are hard to get in the pool house. I've been trying for years.....actually Sharon has been trying for years to ship to the pool house. :lmao:

Does the wait time have anything to do with the DRs being on DIS? :rotfl:

Now now.... we've had this conversation before..... :confused3 ;)

It actually has more to do with the 15 or so admitted patients boarded in the ER because there are no beds upstairs.....

And you surely don't want to ENCOURAGE patients to come to the ER for super speedy quick service!!!! Heck, if they have to wait 6 hours, maybe they'll stop coming in for a cold or a sore throat---better served by a primary care doc. :confused3 :sad2:

And we don't make people pay up front.......... it's so much easier to get free care that way......

I'm a little early but I wanted to be the first on the thread to say:

Happy Birthday Stacey!
