That one was on 1/15 along with the Radiance of the Seas. I taped them both. I haven't watched Radiance yet. Guess I gota watch that one tomorrow.

yeah, but she got up for about :30 seconds. I wonder if that bottom is padded. It has to be. There must be a line everyday to get on that thing. Augie said he wants to try it. That should be fun to watch. Gotta juice up the camcorder for that one.

Wow. Based on the prices they're posting, a Mexican Riviera cruise in a CAT 12 would be $4000-$4500. And we like Cat 6. Yikes! Our Double Dip cruise was in the neighborhood of $3800 for a Cat 6. I guess it's because once school is out, it's high season. Can you say sticker shock?

Morning All - so where are we going? Did you book all our rooms? I was on the road all day yesterday and missed all the posts...must catch up now.

What a drive!!! I cannot imagine what the folks are going through in the snow!

I have never seen so much fog in rural Florida - you could not see - anything....I can honestly say my head was in the clouds for hours.....

I think we should all go on one of these cruises!! Sam says they're GREAT!!

Sam is trying to talk me into one out of Ft. L. so we don't have to fly. It is on the Pilot and goes (oh pph, somehwere in the Carribean). For this May.

He just dropped this last night so we will have to see. I was thinking of a bike tour of the Napa Valley for this May. So we will have to see. The good news is that they are both only one week...So perhaps....

Historically, how does your school system do it? Is graduation right after school lets out, or is there time in between (like a week gap) which may not make you cruise ready until the 3rd weekend in June. Not saying that's how they are doing it in 2008, just wondering if you knew what they've done in the past.

In the past, school has always gotten before Memorial Day, and graduation has always fallen on the Monday (Memorial Day) or Tuesday right after. I am considering calling the High School directly to see what they are planning. My hope is that they seniors would actually get to graduate early since they are getting out of school so late.

Not one parent I have spoken to is happy about the new calendar. Unfortunately, this is a mandate by the State Legislature to pacify the lobbyist for the state's tourism department.

Well at least for me and at least as far of being part of the 5/27 group. We all just seem to be going in different directions. I'm sure once we decide what we are doing we'll jump into a thread for that either here or on cruise critic.
