Wouldn't it be cool if there was a way to have Mickey in the water like that? What a great picture that would make from the verandah.

The OP said it was for VMK. Is that Virtual Magic Kingdom? I didn't know anyone was still playing that.

I gave it up months ago but there are still lots of die-hard players. It is especially popular with kids. From what I read the contest is on Ebay but some of the prizes are VMK codes. Most of the contest is pictures with hidden Mickey's in them.

RUN MARY! He'll be mad that we laughed at him!

Never mad at the two of you......just at any guy that wants to take out Lisa. :rotfl:

I figure I'm setting the stage for her right now. "Lisa, you have to bring the guy over for dinner. Matt did."

Poor Matt....just another example that living here is tough. Since you quoted it will do no good to edit it. I'm sure he will be able to live with it. :rotfl:

Hi all. No decorating for us yet. I think we are going to start up this next weekend. Charley is off for 4 days, so it will give us plenty of time to get stuff done.

Kevin -- what a great picture of Alicia. She is a beautiful young lady.

Mary, I am with you. Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. Yuck. Have a ton of stuff to do at work.

Have a great week all.

'Todays events went well We went to the movies and say Desa Vu(sp?). It had a nice plot but hard to keep up with. I than drove us back home for dinner with my family and two of the neighbors. We had prime rib, asparagus, mushrooms, capri salad, sweet patato cassarole, and crem bule. Dad behave well tonight and I was given the ok to bring more peole back home. Oh and I did having a guy come home for dinner was nice.;)

I have responded, but since this is St. Thomas Irene should also respond.

Jim - thanks! You are right. Sorry Irene. Guess I had the 2004 cruise on my mind and was just thinking of Jim & Kevin. Forgot you just got back. Perfect!

Okay...you enjoyed it...but did SHE? Inquiring minds want to know!

And....does she have a job? Plans for college? What does her dad do? Does she have siblings? Any family members in jail or ever been arrested? Does she do drugs? Drink? Smoke? Tattoos? Piercings?
Just what exactly are her intentions?
You have to be home by 11:00.

There's a few for your dad to practice when it's Lisa's turn. And Matt.....you have to be there if Lisa has a date. It always intimidated my dates to have my brothers sitting there!
;)

She did enjoy last night enough that she now wants me to meet her parents. She has one younger brother. I don't kniw if she has any family members in jail but non of her imidiate family is. No she does not do drugs, drink, smork, and she wants to go to collage after high school. I will keep these questions in my mind when Lisa gets a date.

Good Morning All - I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was enjoyable and everyone made it home fine - or are enjoying your extended vacation, esp. if you are partying at WDW.

Saturday is our day to decorate the outside of the house - with lights and ladders - two things that do not mix with rain. However, we are in a drought and need the rain so badly, we cannot complain. We can't put up lights, but we can't complain. So, I busied myself with making the indoors bright. Almost all is done except for the tree - which we purchased Sunday and is sitting outside in a bucket of water - having a well deserved drink.

Last night we attended a Wine Pairing at a very small local resturant. Only 16 diners and a nice time had by all.

And what were all of you up to? I know, I'll go check.

Stacey - I too love the pictures.

And the owls were a surprise, when I opened the page, only the top part of the picture loaded at first - thought it would be a fox.

Mary and Mark - great planning for the trip to Hawaii....you make me want to again.

Monica - As I sit here rubbing my sore neck from the weekends decorating, maybe I should have enrolled in your class. Or watched TV instead....

Pam - your Black Friday sounded unreal - but fun and successful. Congrats on getting it all (almost done).

Kevin, did you have a red or pink light on Alicia - the picture is very good of her....So is so pretty......

So Diana, was shopping successful?

Must rush off now...back later...

Happy Monday!

I owe, I owe, so back to work I go! My 4-day weekend was very nice and we did get a lot done. So back to work today! Much to do for the end of the month, but our WDW trip is right around the corner!

Wow... took me forever to catch up after being gone for a week!!!!

We did the whirlwind planes-trains-and-automobiles-family-tour of New England... flew out of OIA on Sunday to CT... spent Sunday night with my family, headed up to NH to visit Ray's Mom on Monday (FROZE MY BUTT OFF!!!)... finally got to see my 14 month old niece who I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting yet... she's beautiful!!

Back to CT on Wednesday... Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday for 29 of us... 'nuff said about that... (NOT a wonderful experience)...

Friday night was my 20th high school reunion... had a pretty good time... the women have DEFINITELY aged better than the men, with very few exceptions... even though I've lost touch with everyone, it was great to see most of them again...

Saturday was back to the airport and heading for home... didn't want to fly back into Orlando on Sunday... and looking at the news last night, I'm so glad I didn't...

Woke up yesterday morning to horrendous news that a great customer and friend was killed by a stray bullet trying to break up a fight outside of his restaurant on Friday night... unbelievable... especially in this town...

Back to work this morning after a day of decorating yesterday... I've still got lots more to do, but ran out of steam around 8:30 last night...

Glad to hear that everyone had a great Thanksgiving... for all of you travelling to FL... its warm again!!!!!!!

Kiki, thanks for the weather update. I guess we will just be prepared for anything. Jim, Kevin says that if it's as cold as Dec. 2001, he won't be diving.

Irene, I guess the shopping trip was successful. We got cat food and a new shower liner. Yes, we are hard core shoppers. Note, Alicia wasn't along.

Back to shipping. I'm not shopping, but other people are, thank goodness.

You're just a BABY! This past summer would have been my 30th...but I don't know if they even had a reunion, I never heard a word, and my mom didn't see anything in the newspaper.

I noticed when we went to Jay's 30th that the women looked better now than they did in high school. I think it's just because they can do more with their hair and makeup. But it is funny to see all the (formerly) studly football players all fat and bald now!

T.O.P.

Hey guys,

I'm here in Syracuse, NY and it sounds like it's warmer up here than in FL. It was 52 degrees here today. Very nice. What's with the snow in Florida? We'll be there in 7 days and I would love to wear shorts and short sleeved shirts. I don't really want to wear a coat in Florida.

It is warming up down here. Coat not needed, but sweater or sweatshirt perhaps...Or you can "forget" to pack one and buy a new Disney sweat....hee hee....

The tree is now decorated and i'm taking a lunch break before we do the rest of the decorating both inside and out. Decorating the tree is the most tedious but also the most enjoyable of all the decorating we do. Definately a time for memories. The oldest ornament in the tree is over 40 years old and was given to me by one of the managers of our local food store when I was just 6 years old and being a good girl and sitting quietly waiting for my mother to check out. It is always the first on the tree. Also on the tree is the full collection of Hallmark Frosty Friends. My mom used to collect them and we have carried on the tradition. Of course we also have a lot of Disney ornaments as well. In fact we have so many now that we don't even put them all up. This year we left off all the Rankin Bass and Star Trek ornaments. Of course ones that did make it on special places on the tree were those from the 2004 10 day Christmas Cruise. What special memories those hold! Thanks to all of you who were part of that cruise for giving us such special memories for years to come!

Mary - thanks for sharing....It sounds like a lovely tree. I had to search to see what the Rankin Bass were - now I know....The Frosty Friends are so cute. Do they still make them?

Ours is still outside in a bucket of water....

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that our plans have changed somewhat. We won't be around for any mini-meets cause

WE'RE GOING ON A CRUISE!!!!
A 4-night on Carnival's Sensation (shhhh) out of Port Canaveral to the Bahamas. Just booked it last night. We got a GREAT deal. Inside room though...not sure if I'm going to like that one. It's all the way in the back. Any suggestions? Anyway, the boys don't know about it and we plan on surprising them. Kind of like an early X-mas gift. We figure we were going to spend that money at WDW, so what the heck....Carpe Diem!!!!

Let's hope the weather is warmer than it has been out there. I've got everything under control, thanks to all you guys giving the greatest info on cruising. Already got the over-the-door shoe hanger, duct tape, etc. Hope our tablemates are as nice as "the Pugs".

Talk to you soon. Gotta go and pick up kids at school.
