This could change the complexion of tomorrow entirely..

Bo Schembechler collapses, dies at 77

Lot of times, this kind of thing really either takes the wind out of or inspires a team like little else can.

I had the opportunity to hear him speak and to meet him at our annual convention in '05... he was a great guy, no matter which side you're on. I'm sure that many thoughts and prayers will be with his family on gameday... he sure touched a lot of lives.

This is a fun little exercise that some of you might find interesting. Go to Autodesk and run this quiz on which photo is real and which ones are computer generated. You will be amazed by the them.

I got 8 out of 10.

I got 8 out of 10, too. I had the cup and the 'nut and bolt' wrong.

So there is some kind of football game this weekend. Anyone know anything about it? :lmao:

Gee, how'd you know it's Rice University's Homecoming weekend... ;)

If there was a sudden change of air pressure around 2:00 - it was me, letting out a big woosh of air - I finished - nerve wracking, have some things to work on- but, I got the green light to test on December 12...Don't know if I should celebrate or panic...So much to do so little time.

9 1/2 hrs of driving today - I'm beat! Everyone is escaping Houston tonight, most schools have the entire week off - as I was driving home - traffic was tied up towards the airport and also heading north to Dallas.

Maggie's final soccer game of the season - and probably her career is tomorrow - their end of season tournament. They're seeded last - so it would be a major Cinderella story if they advance... She's already planning on playing lacrosse next season - I don't know if I should strangle or thank John's cousins for introducing her to lacrosse.

Yep...gometros is right. I go on there to talk about my (gasp!) Norwegian cruises...past & future. Wish I'd been over there more before our Princess cruise, I might have been better prepared. Not as prepared as you can get from the DIS, though.
:disrocks:

And you don't have to apoligize for a non-DCL cruise........a few of us are "cheaters". ;) ;)

Nah, we're not cheaters - we are doing research ;)

I also have to echo cruise critic - I've never joined a cruise thread - but, I do lurk and research ships and ports-even for Disney ports of call. It is a wealth of information.

:dance3: A U-TOP WITH STACEY!!!

sorry to barge in guys..I need some opinions from the ATL folks about the atlanta aquarium...I am thinking of taking the kids there 2mrrw....also curious as the the best outlet place or shopping center around? I will have all four kids with just me (honey will be working)...also I see the reservations are suggested but not required....looking a tthe system it still looksl ike there are 100 + tickets for all time slots 2mrrw except one.....do you think we will have a problem without ressies? I want to wait til we get there to purchase tickets because I can get a discount with my work badge. And when you are looking at $100 just for us to get in the door, that extra $10 is a bonus...and secondly is this going to be worth $100??? I keep thinking that I am going to be disappointed while we are there....??? And lastly anyone wanna meet up 2mrrw?!?!?! LOL

8 out of 10 for me.

Good enough since I kept up with a professional photographer! :cool1:

Good morning Cruisers

We sail in 81 weeks*!

*DISclaimer. This is based on a sail date of June 7, 2008. This can of course change once the 2008 dates come out and if DCL has anything special planned.

I'm am brain dead, overloaded and exhausted after studying and cramming the last two weeks. I am one step closer to testing for this first phase of my pilates certification. After a year and a half it's been a long long process, mentally and physically.

I'm up and out of here early tomorrow morning for the 4 hr drive to Dallas for a practice test. It's about a 2 hr mock exam - so I'll be back on the road tomorrow night. I couldn't get a cheap flight.

If y'all could spare some prayers and pixie dust 11:30-2:00 central time - I'd really appreciate it! If I nail this - I get the o.k. to schedule my final exam!

After reading more posts, I see that you did get the green light.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks for the compliment! But don't you have to make money at something, before you're called a "professional"? :lmao:

OK - not Atlanta folks..... but we loved it last year when we were in town for the Sugar Bowl..... It was quite crowded - but it was well worth the money....

Uh, oh! Looks like none of us Atlanta folks saw this post last night. So sorry. I hope you did get to go - the Aquarium is sooooo worth the $$$. Please post how your day turns out. Probably better to call one of us next time on short notice!! :teeth:

Just been doing some little things around here today...as much or little as I possibly can.

I remembered the other day that I hadn't bought my Christmas stamps yet, and by now, I'm sure our small post office is sold out. Then I remembered that our business has an account with Stamps.com so I thought I'd check and see how much credit I have. Tons! Will be printing my own Christmas stamps. Cool. And will most likely have enough credit left over to print labels for our packages ...Christmas gifts. If I ever get them wrapped and boxed. Stupid hand. :(

Well, at last check, OHIO was beating MI. Who's watching?

We are! With a break to go to church in between. Got to see script Ohio which I love and I don't think I've seen in some 20 years!
